I've found something that could use a FYX, see here a screenshot from the riften ratway. The arrows pass through but not the character, maybe it would be better to add a bar there.
Could you take a look at SkyHavenTempleTempLayout01.nif's (and related meshes') stairs? Even if the UV is beyond repair, I don't think I've seen it really mentioned, and I want to make more people look down and recoil. https://imgur.com/LgYIj73
Thank you! Bethesda probably used very low poly meshes for collisions avoid a negative impact on performance, even if this affected the gameplay lol. That was like 12 years ago, today I don't think that this is still an issue, no?
I would assume that most of the time developers do this, it's to prevent players from completely cheesing the enemy AI since they don't have the environmental awareness to open the gate to get to you if it needs a switch or key.
In this case it's pretty clear that either the collision was copied and pasted from a different door to save time, or the door used to be different and they replaced the visible mesh without changing the collision one.
