Looks incredible! I had a similar idea but yours is going to be far better! I love it. Rorikstead is the perfect little settlement for some Scandinavian turf houses. Very nice work!
Did you try something more circular, like an irish stone mound with a straight wooden facade at the front and a covered outside reserve at the back ? Simplest stonework ever especially if covered with dirt and grass, plus it could have a firepit at the center so that natural light could enter from above. Firepits combined with an occulus natural light can have interesting day/night cycle lighting if you add an inverted emittance to your firepit light. I love your work btw, you really make Tamriel a unique place to live in.
