It was something different this time, but it keeps the creativity fresh and some of the assets will surely be used in other pictures again.
Wonderful image set, 10/10!!
Just looking at the main image I realized that you were inspired by Georg Flegel's paintings since he used to add in his painting some object with philosophical content. I also like Willem Kalf's paintings with his beautiful nautilus cups and delicious fruits.
Glad you like 'em, they were just as much work as my showcases.
"It's a bit more funny then others, showing that not all still lifes had to be dark and gloomy" (c) I fully support your thought! Still life is a very versatile theme, which is not limited to gloomy things only!
PS. Thanks again for your beautiful contribution and interest! It's always cool when creative screenarchery take part in these events!
The falcon/snake one was one of the more difficult ones to make. The snakes come from Karlov Manor and the falcon is from a mod that adds birds of prey to the game - though I had to customize its model to make it look like this.
The dwemer desktop wasn't so hard to make, as most of it comes from the model I used for the tribute to Klaxoid. The dwemer stuff is generally very customization-friendly, giving me lots of options to play with.
I remembered Flegel from my old art classes after I looked at some real still lifes to get some inspirations. How that cat looks at the mouse really gave me a smile and I wanted to share that with you.
