A nord noble living in Riften. He is the patriarch of Clan Snow-Shod, an influential family calling Riften their home. He and his wife Nura, who is a priestess of Talos, are strongly in support of the Stormcloak cause. Vulwulf himself was a soldier in his youth, but nowadays he just drinks at the Bee and Barb. His sons are Asgeir and Unmid, the former is a businessman with ties to Maven Black-Briar and the latter is the housecarl to Jarl Laila Law-Giver. He also had a daughter called Lilija once, but she died fighting for the Stormcloaks.
