This update is focused on consistency so that features work as people expect. Pretty much everything has been tweaked in some way.

PBR now matches vanilla shaders much better.
New grass shading model.

Support for FSR frame generation.
Mip lod bias for TAA/FSR/DLAA for sharper textures.
Improved grass collision.
Brighter skylighting.
Opacity slider for cloud shadows.
Dynamic cubemaps for blackreach.
Renderpass crash fix.
SSGI tweaks.
Improved skylighting shading.
Improved blending skylighting with vertex AO, landscape vertex colours and trees.
Improved PBR glint performance by 10x.
Parallax warping fix for parallax.
DLAA transformer model.
Improved wetness.
Tonemapping tweaks.

    Compiling Shaders at the logo.... but there's no more, the music plays but never shows game load options, "Bethesda" is stuck on the screen. All other features also updated.

    Edit: I've tried removing the Bethesda logo by leaving it blank in the .ini, but it doesn't work, the game freezes on the Alduin image and after a while the Dovahkiin song plays as if the start menu had actually loaded. Reverted to 1.1.15 version, all works fine again

      Mine did the same thing, even on the occasions when it got to the menu it was frozen and I couldn't select anything. Shaders only partially compiled and clearing Shader Cache didn't work. Disabling Community Shaders allowed it to work so I also rolled back.

      Not a single issue here.

      Do you have optional shaders installed in a different mod folder and forget to update those?

      I followed papageorgio's suggestions in posts and switch to borderless full-screen. At least the game will not hang. But it takes like 25 mins to compile all shaders and there are still 13 shaders failed to compile.

    How does this version  interfere and DLSS in Upscaler - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/80343 ?

    By using DLSS mode, upscaling, in Skyrim game screen gets to a lower resolution as on picture.
