How kind of you!

First and foremost, if you find any bugs or issues: Report them! Kindly try using my mod on a profile with no other mods to make sure it isn't an issue with one of your other mods. If it is an issue with another mod but you're having trouble finding which one, then please do ask for help.

Next, I need ideas for new topics. Keep in mind, I find these topics by looking for keywords in the text of the book. The 'Dwemer' category is populated by books with the words Dwemer, Dwarves, or Dwarven in their text. If you ask for a topic that's hard to find that way (such as 'Fiction'), that'll be difficult...but you should suggest it anyway.

Finally, if you have an idea or suggestion that doesn't fall into one of the above categories, throw it in here anyway. Maybe you think I could organize the dialogue better? I know I think that. Thinking anything else? Let's hear it!

Sometimes a keyword search like you're doing of the text would be so helpful for finding books where it isn't obvious in the title! Having Urag function like an actual librarian is so so so cool. I came up with more ideas than I intended to, and several of them suggest including books from other mods, since there are so many mods that add books to the game. I don't know how much extra work it would be and how much time you're wanting to spend on it, but it would be cool if you could include patches for at least one or two of the most popular book mods that add tons of books to the game.

Anyway, here is my obnoxious list of ideas:

    • books for novice students (tons added by mods, but surely lots in regular game, too; basics of magic, overview of the schools of magic, student handbook, etc.)
    • enchanting (incl. books on soul gems)
    • alchemy
    • healing (lots of stuff added by mods too)
    • lists for each of the five schools of magic (often aren't obvious by the title, though many are Skill Books, so that could be helpful in identifying them if the keyword search itself doesn't turn them up)
    • herbology/flora, incl. both common and rare plants; also other non-biological reagents
    • nirnroot (enough books to make a separate category?)
    • bestiaries (books that cover numerous creatures)
    • spriggans
    • undead
    • Tamrielic races
    • books on cooking (there are a surprising number of these, at least with the combo of mods I use added into the mix)*
    • geography
    • skyrim history
    • lists of books for different eras of Tamrielic history (Dawn Era, Mythic/Merethic Era, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th)
    • war/war histories and related primary documents
    • other specific historical events, like the Oblivion Crisis, that have several relevant books in game
    • biographies (perhaps further subdivided--not sure how much work this is or how much you're wanting to do)
    • books about the college, the mage guild, their histories, primary sources related to them or whatever
    • music & poetry (there are books of songs, and lots more added by mods for bard college playthroughs)
    • government/law
    • divination/prophecy
    • forgotten civilaizations (in add'n to Dwemer you've already covered, could do snow elves or whatever)
    • linguistics (on dragon language, Tamrielic languages, whatever)
    • architecture (may lean more into Dwemer-only stuff--again not sure what's in the base game vs. the many book mods bc I've used them all together for so long now)
    • diff. types of craftsmanship for weapons and armours (not what a typical mage might be inclined to research, but would be a logical category)
    • survivalism (tons of mod-added books, again)
    • constellations/signs/lunar phases/other celestial topics (again, lots from mods, but surely at least a couple in base game; can also include any books that touch on the Standing Stones in the game)
    • necromancy
    • magical ethics (or combine with war/battle theory for a more general ethics/philosophy list)
    • rare and/or mythical artifacts
    • dragon priests
    • Psijic Order
    • burial practices, incl. books related to burial crypts
    • the Elder Scrolls :o)

Possibly too much feedback here. I'm sorry, I got excited. I'm stopping myself now. But seriously, what a cool idea for a mod. I'm following so I'll get updates as you post them. Huzzah! :)

Try to do that when you ask for book Urag will guide you like Elder Scroll quest, it would be very immersive and lore-friendly
