6. COMMON ISSUES

• If you can't add items properly on to SOULSY HUD cycles, go into MCM menu, and re-apply all the mappings. This is caused to a problem overwriting MCM. It need to be done only once.
  

• Make Sure your mods are in the correct order, as shown on the installation process.
  

• If your mappings are not working after setting up all the steps above, double-check point 4 of the installation.
  

• If the solution above didn't work, make sure that you have installed the mods in the order specified on point 2, otherwise just reinstall them in that certain order.
• If your steam config it's blank when you try to apply it, make sure all the toggles shown down below are correct, as if steam input is not enabled, it won't apply the layout.
  

• Make Sure that your steam input is enabled for whatever kind of controller you are using

• If still doesn't work, go to your steam library, look for skyrim > "right click" on it > "controller layout" > Make sure is on "Full Skyrim Controller". If it's not just grab again the link with the steam config above, copy it and then paste it on your browser, accept steam request and hit "X" (Square for PS controllers) to apply the layout.
  

• If you still did all the steps above, something that worked for some user is to override steam input on skyrim properties as shown in the pic below:

• If you can't make it work either way, grab this file and follow the instructions from the readme file inside to manually set the configs into your game.
  

• If your weapon can not be unsheathed (Ready Weapon), go to your in-game settings > controls > remap to X again. THIS IS THE ONLY KEYBIND YOU CAN EDIT, OTHERWISE YOU WILL CREATE THE FILE ON INSTALLATION PROCESS STEP 4.
  

• If you still are not able to make the steam config work, download the "Manual Installation Configs" from the optional files, and check the readme inside on "how to install" manually.
  

• As a last option, you could try running steam as admin, we know it's been a solution for some users in case they couldn't make it work under any circumstances.
