Skyrim Special Edition

The Native - Only in Chanterelle

Born in Chanterelle. They are from Nord origin, the old nordic ruins have probably been built by their ancestors. They fight against all intruders and settlers. A lone hunter will probably not have trouble with them. All the male natives disappeared years ago. You maybe will find some clues about it.

- No worship -

Ennemy of Tribal and Lost Legion

Native Outfit: Forsworn, but they have custom weapons

The Tribals

Fierce and aggressive. They paint their body black, with a white skull on their faces. Their women have a white hand on the mouth - probably to remind them to stay silent.
They occupy most of the Hall of the Mountain King region, establishing camps. They live for hunt. Manhunt. They worship the Great Old Ones - the Otherwordly entities from beyond space, feared even by aedras/daedras. Some of their weapons are guarded in secret places, too powerful to be used in Tamriel.
Some Tribal became "Waagh" and fight against their own tribe.

- Unspeakable worship -
Ennemy of everybody and themselves

Tribal Outfit: Forsworn and rags, rustic weapons

The Lost Legion

Remnants of an empire army. The Legion tried to conquer Chanterelle, but was pushed in the Hall of the Mountain King by the Natives. The Agaune Pass was the fortress allowing the soldiers to go back to Skyrim, until it's capture by the Natives (destruction of the village of Gruezidorf in those same years).
The Legion abruptly lost all contact with the empire, and Solitude didn't sent any reinforcement.

The Lost Legion built a settlement at the entry of the Cento Vallis valley, the castle went in ruins long ago when Tribal made an assault.
The Legion's children kept the empire duty. They consider themselve as empire's soldiers, even if nobody in Tamriel is aware of their existence.

Well, it is 3.12 beta. (One player's thoughts) As for reproduction that is a mystery. As you said men are gone or are they there might be a few hid away but not many which I assume is why so many look like sisters from the same father. Also, there may be some godly interaction, but they are not aware of it. I will tell you if, you add my mod with Torg the Hammer he will do his best. If you look around, you will find evidence of men in, Chanterelle But it is far and few for their appearance. Also, you have the Amazon option Capture some men have them donate to a dozen women then let them leave or kill him, Or.
    (Team members thoughts)
There is a book quest in the mod which can define what's really going on based on one man's thoughts on the study of the natives and Chanterelle.

I fought about the possibility that the "Natives" could be former Tribals that have defected from them. The fact that their women have hand painted on their face to remind them to keep silent hint at the possibility that they may be highly misogynistic. If so, then the lack of Native males could be due to the only when a pregnant woman leave the Tribals could they possibly get one meaning that they few males they have are hidden and father many children. In time the numbers will even out thou.

Another possibility has something to do with the nymph mod. If so, the Natives are not really Nords, they are nymphs, unageing women unable to bear male children.

Or perhaps they have a Black Widow complex and abduct men from the Legion and the Tribals, drug them, mate and kills them when they are done with them. Maybe they are the real evil group on the island...

Tribals are a mix of Natives, Lost Legion, smugglers, hunters and ancient and unknow origin. The Natives have been thought as a kind of Amazonian tribe, and we added a few notes about the last males in the tribe. You can find clues and hint when searching for the mythical city of Kadath and the Stone Hall.

That explain why you use the term Natives since they really are natives. So Tribals are a mixed group that has formed a cult then. In any case, without men they are doomed as a group if they do not breed with someone. Perhaps their tolerance for lone foreign hunters comes into place here. This could also explain why these men are not seen, they do not live with the Natives, just have encounters with them.

The real problem here is that at this point of development people do not talk much. I hope that at some point the people of Chanterelle are going to be more fleshed out as npc's so it will be possible to converse with them a bit.

Although not everything is ready, there are actually more factions. I'm thinking about the EvilGiant Faction, which already has some members in MK.

Of the Lost Legion the two ladies on the left and the gentleman on the right are already dead, they killed each other.
It should be noted that the Natives are all female, while the other two are mixed. Wonder how the Natives make children, LOL

I haven't noticed the Lost legion fighting each other but they did go after me even after I walked away, one of them followed and got killed by a Spriggan. The male and females in the valley (if that is the area you are referring to) did not fight each other, they all attacked me but only after being provoked.

direct when I enter MK using Agaune Pass, at first wall, there are two (either two women or two men), always, repeatable. The winner attacks player char or one of the companions, even if they only stand still and watch that.

Tested with a new character and minimal mods at Agaune Pass but the only issue was they were pretty slow to react to my presence and did not give the usual "back off" taunts, so not behaving quite as expected. I tried a couple times, even tried to get them to fight each other but it didn't happen.

Don't forget the Legion react to your faction: if you used the Travel Agency Start in the Village or in the Hunter Camp, you will have the Native Faction and Legion become hostile. I'm checking the AI package, too as they should not fight each other: it can be because of the time needed to update cells after an update.
