Skyrim Special Edition

Because of the wide array of features that Last Seed has, it can be a bit script-heavy when you have all the features enabled. This won't be a problem for most people, but if you already have a lot of script-heavy mods installed you may start running into problems. Note that this isn't a problem with Last Seed itself, but rather when Last Seed is combined with a number of other script-heavy mods.

If you experience any of the following issues, it is a sign that your script engine is getting overloaded:

* Waterskins or multi-part items take a long time to return to your inventory after consumption, or the items don't return at all.
* Suddenly not getting any benefit from consuming food, requiring the mod to be restarted.
* Primary Needs suddenly stop working, requiring the mod to be restarted.
* Getting messages in your papyrus log saying "suspended stack count is over our warning threshold, dumping stacks".
* Getting reports in ReSaver of over 1000 unresolved stacks related to Last Seed.

If your scripting engine is getting overloaded, you can either disable some of the features in Last Seed, or uninstall some other script-heavy mods in your load order.

If you need to disable some features for performance reasons, these are the features that will have the most impact:

* Food Spoilage
* Food Weight, Price and Name Changes
* Auto-Eating
* Animations
* Follower Needs
* Vampire Feeding Detection
* Additional Diseases

If you would like to uninstall some other mods to improve performance, I would recommend starting with mods that spawn a lot of new NPCs into the game world, and mods that affect NPCs via a cloaking script. For the latter, I would recommend looking for an alternative that uses Spell Perk Item Distributor. For example, the original version of Footprints uses a cloaking script, but it also has a SPID patch that is a lot more efficient.

Beyond that, it can be difficult to identify specific mods that are script-heavy without actually playing the game, so I would recommend experimenting with removing a few mods and seeing if it improves performance. If you would like more information about how to identify script-heavy mods, I would recommend reading this Reddit post.
