When I try to install this mod (Version without creation club) for Skyrim 1.6.1170.0 using Mod Organizer 2, I get the error Extraction Failed: Data Error. Anyone else getting that too?
Hello, I have been using your textures for a while now and I must say they are of high quality. However, I have had one issue, that being that this mod does not seem to work on anniversary edition content. For instance, both the Daedric Mail and Daedric Plate armors retain their vanilla textures, which looks weird when combined with the properly retextured normal Daedric armor. Would you happen to know of a fix for this?
For anyone getting purple hood (i.e. no textures) with the Nahkriin mask:
It turns out this mod is missing two texture files called “helmet_ebony.dds” and “hood_ebony.dds” that are supposed to be in a texture folder called “dragonpriesthelm”. To fix this you first need to seek out the original mod for those textures. They are in their own category in the fomod installer, so that’s probably why they slipped by the porter. You’ll also need the NX Toolkit to convert them, as well as to unpack and repack the bsa from this port.
While you’re doing that, I’d also recommend deleting the folder called “cubemaps”. As it turns out, the Toolkit can’t actually convert cubemaps properly (it removes 5 of its 6 arrays), so you end up having effectively no cubemap at all for the ebony equipment. This looks pretty bad, but it’s somewhat fixable by simply deleting the cubemap folder, as that will force those models to start using the base game’s cubemaps instead. This restores the metallic shine to the ebony gear, even if this new look is probably still a bit different from the one intended by Xavbio.
