I've been expecting Xanthys on my non LE playthroughs for a while now, do u still plan to port him?
- Highlight and select all the records in the left pane with the word DUPLICATE.
- Right click on 1 record then find "Apply script...." in the context menu
- Find the "Replace text in EDID and FULL" script, its sorted alphabetically
- In the script, find the line (you should see it right away):
constStrSearch = 'XXXXXX';
StrReplace = 'XXXXXX';
- I don't know what the values are in the default script (I've changed mine) but you wanna change it to:
constStrSearch = 'DUPLICATE';
StrReplace = '';
- Click OK then double check all the DUPLICATE's are gone
Also stop using the CK, its a garbage tool.
Non-modders just cannot fathom these kinds of frustrations.
Twice now work that I've done has been featured (that I've seen) in Youtube videos, and once I even got an entire episode about my mod by Ariane Vai (the voice behind many different NPC mods), even though I'm not nearly as "famous" as big mod authors and the Youtube channels that featured me had small audiences, it still just gave me goosebumps seeing people appreciate my stuff that much.
It makes all the headaches and yelling (literally) at my computer screen all worth it!
Makes those interactions memorable AF.
I especially love Sheo sounding normal and then suddenly NOT NORMAL when he gets intense.
I mean... glad to hear its still in the process... but ouch.
