This mod stops predator attacks on Touring Carriages, and it gives carriage drivers a candlelight effect in dark conditions.
It equips carriage drivers with an enchanted ring that casts the same faction benefits (predators, creatures, orcs, and bandits) on the player (and followers) that the vanilla driver and horse has. This would cover most attacks, then I added forsworn too.
The mod is compatible with SkyTEST animal behavior mod and hopefully is compatible with any other animal behavior mod that recognizes the Kyne's Peace shout. Also, I recommend the Crash Fixes mod, for use with Touring Carriages generally with or without this patch, that is, if you get frequent crashes.
Because of their hyper-aggressive nature, trolls and ice wraiths will still attack, but they both move slowly so their attacks are rarely serious.
With update 1.1, the issue with drivers sometimes being naked when the mod is first loaded has been fixed. Their candlelight effect no longer plays on schedule, but responds to ambient light conditions. Mostly I find it works ok--there when you need it, not there when you don't--but can vary based on ENBs and lighting mods.
