Use SSE NIF Optimizer, with that program you can use simple texture mods like this one for skyrim SE. I don't recommend you to use them with more complex mods like animation or gameplay. Textures only: add weapons or armor, texture replacements.
OH COME ON! it's great, finally the necessary complement but the CBBE is missing, please. I don't understand how no one else cared about this armor. You did the right thing, thank you very much. I use it for skyrim SE.

Is there an easy way to put the pants and sleeves on the scaled armor as well?
(Also wondering why might there be a gap between neck and body when equipped. Is it because I don't have the body shape you used?) edit: nevermind, that seems not to be the case anymore!

but I've been told running the meshes with Nif optimizer works fine on SE.
