    The mod causes random floating walls to appear westwards of Whiterun. Editing leftovers?

    WONDERFUL home/Castle, I've been using it for the last 6 months BUT unfortunately I'll have to remove it as I found out it was the cause for most of my CTD's... sometimes every 5 minutes while exploring or upon entering a cell etc... it worked fine for sometimes and those cod's started to appear without me adding new mods and cleaning my cache on a regular basis. So basically, the more stuff I added into the castle, the more ctd's... weird but I just did the test and TES5Edit sadly confirmed this... but hey, beautiful home and maybe you guys will have better luck than me!

    For the new WIP mod. I repeat a WORK IN PROGRESS stage of the mod. No uploaded files only information and updates.

    Search Darkwater Keep and Faction in the Abodes section.

    Also to those still tracking i have draft 2 fellow modders who have spent the last 3 months learning the mod tools, to start on the extensive book writing and quest writing.

    I will begin to post updates on the progress on that page now.

    This mod is far from dead or not being worked on. but it has become rather ambitions in its aim. As its developed from simply adding a few npcs to make it feel livly and to mod the keep to my own taste.

    To a complete interactive and immersive lore friendly faction and area. Thsi poses many issues but so great results.

    One of the best is the addition of the full bridge and relocation to a spire of rock in the lake (seprate from the land.)

    I think the guy stopped working on it. It really does not need most of the stuff that they want to add. The only things i see jacked.

    1. The lighting is very bad. It is way too dark, then when you get to the servants quarters you can see.

    2. Sometimes the manikins move.

    What would be very awesome is if your companions could use the door from the guard room or better yet no door at all. Static table setting to its not an empty table.

    This is a very good castle.

    A second update.

    Currently this is where the project stands.

    Keep:
    1. Lighting is brighter and areas picked out.
    2. servants quarters no longer look like a mini house but actual servants quarters.
    3. a small hideaway for the smith in the courtyard. (to stop him getting wet)
    4. A gateway watchtower
    5. some redecorating.

    Area;
    1; Proper birdge.
    2; Keep now further out in the lake on a tower of rock.

    Blackwater Watchers Faction
    1: All npc`s created around 50 in total spread throughout the world. 25 live and work in the keep, with 5 manning a remote tower and 20 in various camps or towns.
    2: A storyline involving betrayel, redemption and death along with a bit of fruit and veg for good measure.

    Sam as before the progress is slow but it is going there, im aiming for the first pics and to post a wip page in the next month or two depending on progress.

    I'm not sure if you're still working on this, it would be such a shame if you weren't or stopped, this castle you've created is something truly awesome. I read some of the ideas you were toying with about the underground city and the Fallmer attacking, or people attacking the castle from time to time, and maybe you're trying to do too much. To me, if you were to add the NPC's that you mentioned below, it would be perfect, all it needs now is just a little life. The 25 - 30 that you mentioned in the keep gets me so excited, I really hope they're all able to be used and dismissed as followers. Ideally, the castle should be peaceful, then take a few followers out and about to do the Thane's bidding, and return back to the keep. The attacking of the castle might be cool for a little, but not all the time, maybe make an optional addon for that. Not sure how that all works, I'm no creator/developer or whichever the term is. Anywho, you have done some great work and prompted me to actually comment for the very first time, this mod is the absolute best I have ever seen, and I've been through a lot, yours is the first one that I felt deserved praise and encouragement to keep going, if it's needed. Great job, can't wait for more!

    I have some issues to report.

    Some doors.... hm how to explain... if you look at the doors and move, you see clipping around it.
    Some lightning turns on and off in main hall when you move around.

    otherwise a great mod and great location

    Is there no room for buildings at the end of the bridge for a small village close and compact together?as ive surveyed the area I know what you mean .

    as for attacks my main toons are usually imperials or imperial friendly so a few imperials nearby wudnt count as hostile for me I don't know about you but I love the feeling of shooting at hostiles from walls its just fun lol

    as for this faction idea I love it even more so if I can give them armor and weapons I prefer and if you can do quests with them over and over again to add
    replay ability
    and as for the bathhouse I agree more so if it were a large room inside the castle ive seen loads of mods player homes castle and such with them

    and as for this underground city idea I can get behind that if the building architecture is solitude buildings.Walls can also be placed underground so that to would be a cool.

    and lately what I really wana say something good about is the current darkwater keep armory in the main cell is flipping awesome its very realistic setup excites me the way the racks are set up and the metal bar doors I just love it and I hope it stays that way
