After much learning and doing a complete rewrite, I have finally fixed the CTD issue that once plagued this mod on LE. This is definitively the final release of this mod, provided no further bugs are unearthed.
If you have high (75+) frost resistance, then the slow is completely negated no matter your stamina. So just focusing frost resistance should be perfectly fine if you don't normally need high stamina for another reason with your build, as long as you can reach 75+.
I think you should give fair warning in the description page about potential issues at lower levels. 80% slow is a big deal, and most people at lower levels have low frost resistance.
I might add an optional patch or install choice to just remove the stamina scaling so it's always a flat amount of slow (50% for most spells). That would get rid of the early game concern and would be very easy to do, actually.
New version (1.0.3) being uploaded now and should be available shortly. This version has a new installer option to choose whether you want the slow to increase as the targets stamina falls or not. It should be safe to switch between the two on an existing save the way that I did it.
In your description, you state that the file is .esl so to not run up against the 255 limit. .esl is for Skyrim SE, correct? or does it ALSO apply in Skyrim LE? I'm just curious, as I've not seen a .esl file for Skyrim LE before. OR, is this .esm and does apply to Skyrim LE? Thank you!! Allen
You are correct, esl is SSE only. I made this for SSE first since that's what I actually play personally, but recreated it for LE after being requested to and finding some extra free time. As such, this version is just standard esp files, no esms. Description was a mistake and should be fixed now. Sorry for the confusion.
Mentioning esl flagging on the LE page here was a mistake from copying the SSE page I already had for convenience and forgetting to comb through for things like that.
