If your looking to download this mod and are running any kind of mod that increases your mining profeciency, ie give you more ore per swing or anything too that effect thhen say clear. If you currently have the vanilla mining experience going on for you then I'd say to give it a shot. Here is why, keep in mind I have a mod that gives me 100 ore every time I mine.
Downloaded this mod and found the cave easy enough. However I was only able to mine from the one that gave me back soul gems. All other mining spots that gave iron, gold, ebony etc would not give me anything. I attempted to chhange the load order around, and I tried waiting a few days in game and noothing could remedy this.
This doesn't seem to be compatible with Complete Crafting Overhaul and both seem to add a script file called "MineOreScript.pex, a compatibility patch maybe required I think. (e.g. a merged verison of the MineOreScript, assuming it's actually relevant and aren't scripted the exact same way).
This is for you guys having trouble with not receiveing ore when you mine yet you get all the soul gems you want. I use a few mining mods and I had the same problem. Even when you loot your plugins , you will still have to go into NMM and manualy move this mod below all other mining mods. It worked for me. I use forges of skyrim mod and extended mining mod. I placed free mine mod after/below these 2 mods and the freemine mod worked just fine after that. I hope this helps anyone coming here with the same problem
Hi, bioras. I had to leave Free Mine and enter a different mine to make this mod work. Some other modders adviced me and it worked for me. I also use this mod together with my TS Free Mine Village here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75815/? which usually triggers my mine as well. Mining is a difficult issue in Skyrim. At least it has been for me. Good luck.
Yea this hasn't been working for me either, only mod that touches mining for me is CCC (Complete Crafting Overhaul) and after checking it's loaded below it already. :/ - The soul gem veins work fine though.
i have an suggestion, it would be very nice if you can add some storage in the mine, because it's ridiculous that i have to go back and forth to breeze home whenever my inventory is full. by the way, it's a great MOD!
All ore veins didn't work for me when I first tried this mod.When I tried to mine,I didn't get any ore.I moved it's position in load order down,and when it didn't work,back to where it suppose to go with MO.Now I can mine ore with standard animation,or power attacks,no problem.Ore veins deplete,but they respawn every few days.It maybe so,because I have 72 hours respawn mod,don't know If it would respawn so fast without it. Thank you for this mod,it's good to have all kinds of ore in one place,and in such a convenient location,right accross the river from leaf rest.
