Just a minor correction to your description, texture size growth is quadratic rather than linear : Vanilla texture size is around 500 pixels x 500 pixels (250,000 p) 1k is around 1,000 p x 1,000 p (1,000,000 p) 2k is around 2000 p x 2000 p (4,000,000 p) 4k is around 4000 p x 4000 p (16,000,000 p)
In other words, 4k is is not quadruple the texture size of vanilla textures. It is 64 times the texture size of vanilla textures, and thus 64 times more strain on the GPU because the GPU now has to process 64 times more pixels.
Most modern GPUs will be fine running with Skyrim clutter objects (ie, rags) at vanilla to 2k textures, with 1k probably making the most sense for the majority of players. 2k is a case of diminishing returns (big performance impact (16x more GPU strain), small quality gain) and 4k is over the top.
I'm just leaving this here as advice to players who are ready to mod the wazoo out of their game with HD textures without realizing their GPU will choke and their Skyrim will crash constantly. I made this mistake myself in the past.
Looks nice and even better that the UV's follow the curvature of the mesh, which a lot of other people tend to not bother with. I would stay away from using "UHD" though as a buzzword, it's really not a thing.
Just a heads up, 1k is actually four times the size of 512x512. This makes 4k 64 times as large as 512x. This is, of course, not related to this mod in and of itself but I wanted to add this because the description is a bit misleading in that regard.
Very nice mod. I downloaded the 1k version and it's gud.

Alright, rant over, downloading this mod.
