can't believe i find this mod only today ! during many quests involving interiors i've always found that Skyrim homes needed to feel more like actual people living in ,with lit hearthfires with large woodpiles around ,meat and ale ,warm beds.... thanks so much for this immersion boost kudo
Hi, sorry for the late reply, but my Vortex is telling me that this game is missing masters / is incompatible due to not having the unofficial legendary edition patch. You mentioned that you moved to SE, and I also play on there too. Is there an update for that version or something like that so that I can use this mod? Thanks
I don't remember, sorry xd. I think it can be capped with an ini setting but I can't recall which ini. Or something with your graphics card maybe. I'd google it before messing around and screwing your game, sorry I can't be of more help...
If you have a high speed monitor, set the monitor to 60 FPS, then set V sync=1 in the .ini. Bethini is a great tool that makes it easy to safely edit your Skyrim .ini files. You can also use Jaxon's positioner to lock everything down in the cell, sometime Skyrim's engine get's crazy on it's own.
So I had a request. I thought the only thing missing from this wonderful mod are the missing smelters from certain towns in skyrim. But there might be some places missing other crafting stations as well. Might make a wonderful addition.
Thanks for liking the mod. I will not be adding smelters to any towns, I already use town overhaul mods that add them and I also try to focus more on the interiors. As for other crafting stations, I don't know which ones are missing from where, specially considering that I made the mod thinking "what would a regular Skyrim citizen have at home" instead of "what crafting stations would be extremely convenient for the player". If you find a place where a certain crafting station would make sense, let me know and I will consider adding it.
So i was at hod and gerdur's house in riverwood and gerdur keeps sleeping in the new bedroll instead of her own bed. Not gamebreaking or anything like that, though. Also i wanted to ask that since HSi edits npc's sleeping schedules and adds new markers and stuff to different interiors, there shouldn't be any problems with Interesting npc's, right?
Oops, I'll add "no-sandbox" flags to the bedrolls. As for Interesting NPCs, I don't use it but going from its mod page, maybe you find some weird behaviour with some NPCs in inns that try to use furniture that I disabled or moved out of reach. If it's something very gamebreaking tell me and I'll see what I can do (or you can make a patch). I don't think changing 3 or 4 sleep packages to point to the right bed can conflict with Interesting NPCs.
Can I ask a thing? Could you edit jarls' longhouses someday? Well, there are some mods, but too rare or huge thing.. More foods and bathing places should be good
I actually added dinner tables and cooking pots to the jarl's longhouses (except in Winterhold because they eat at the inn), but I agree they are a bit barren. I might try to change them a bit someday, and make them different from each other.
Thank you so much for the bedroll in the update. Its such a small feature but appreciated all the same :D Also i wanted to ask, will you do anything for the hearthfire manors?
You're welcome! The knapsack by the bedroll is safe storage, by the way. The Hearthfire Manors are a horrible nightmare of markers and stuff, I'd rather not tangle with them for now...
