I tried loading more animations using "FNIS v7.4.5 XXL" for testing. Due to the small number of trials, it is not necessarily a reliable result. Also, that is the result of my verification. In fact, the result will be different in each environment.
animation number 17500(human14500 + creature3000) None -> Crash "Load Game CTD Fix" -> No Crash "Animation Loading Fix" -> No Crash
animation number 19500(human16500 + creature3000) "Load Game CTD Fix" -> Crash(Address : 0x00be6dd3) "Animation Loading Fix" -> Crash(Address : 0x00be6dd3)
There is a limit to the number of animations that can be loaded, and I think that can not be avoided using this mod. However, this mod has certain effects to avoid the CTD. v1.1.0 Doubled that limit. However, be aware that loading many animations naturally increases memory usage. This update has no effect if you do not use many animations.
First of all, ENDORSED. This little plugin is AMAZING. But I just want to share my specific experience so far because it seems like it has different benefits for me than most. This is only over a few hours so far... but, i have noticed loadscreen times are DRAMATICALLY reduced, and also all other lags that I had become used to are virtually gone (like, lip syncing always lagged behind before, now perfectly on time, crafting, alchemy, opening my inventory... etc... all seems instantaneous now, as if I'm running vanilla with no mods (i actually have well over 100 plugins, prob 200 mods, skyrim folder over 50gb in size) So, to that end, this plugin is like miraculously amazing. Now, on the downside, it has NOT seemed to cut down on crashes per se. I am still experiencing approximately 1-3 crashes per hour, although even the crashes are more "efficient" if that makes sense, like, before my game would usually freeze up for a second or two, before crashing... now if it's going to crash it just does it instantly. I'd say at least 75% of my crashes happen when on horseback, riding across the land, in case that means anything. Anyways, just thought I'd share since my experience since it seems unique compared to most of the comments I've seen. Again, the level of "lag elimination" from this plugin alone, makes it a must have for me going forward, and maybe as I go forward with a larger sample I'll even see less crashing, hopefully, but either way i say THANK YOU to the author for your incredible work. ~tcbflash
If I'm not mistaken, this plugin isn't meant to help with gameplay crashing. It is only meant to prevent the game from crashing when you try to load a save from the main menu when you have a ton of animations installed...
If you're experiencing these improvements specifically from this mod, that's awesome. :) But if it turns out to be the result of something else, feel free to share what it is here. I'm sure a lot of us would be grateful. ;)
Mod - Animation Limit Crash Fix LE conflicting with this mod, causing ctd on new game or load save. I don't know maybe because each of them for the same purpose but just saying for someone who getting crashes.
Please read mod descriptions. "Incompatibility Animation Loading Fix since ver 1.1 edits the same instruction with attempt to double but not avoid the limit. Version 1.0 is compatible for animation preloading."
I don't know how to describe my situation. So I use MO2. I need your mod to prevent the CK from crashing. I can't play the game with your mod, I'll simply crash. So um, where do I start to see what is wrong so I can help you help me?
On my Current game, i've been playing for a while (148h) having problem with random and frequent CTDs that i couldnt find their trigger, in Dungeon full of Draugr, Vampire Hives and Falmer Caves. I don't know how this mod works, but since i've activated (6h of gaming) i got no CTD at all. I do have quite a lot of Bug/Glitch/Etc fixing mod, but this one seems it's the right one for my problem.
So far this seems to work. It used to be if I exceeded... I think it was 12,500 (about a 75% crash chance), I couldn't even use the work-around of loading coc qasmoke before a save, as even THAT would crash. I now have 16,630 animations (crash chance 97%) and have yet to be unable to load a save like normal.
