Cool armor, and looks comfy. A suggestion would be to actually name it Nordic Fur Armor or something in game, because simply Fur will get mixed up with pieces of the vanilla Fur Armor (you know, the one all bandits buy at the same store), except the mittens (because the vanilla "counterpart" is gauntlets). Good work anyway!

you could always just enchant the armor and rename each piece when you do so. I rename all my character's gear. make sure they all begin with the same letters so that they appear grouped in your inventory list.  for example (insert character name's coat)

Hum... Handy way of grouping gear actually. Kudos Kevin.

A replacer for vanilla fur would be terrific. In fact I was under the impression that was what this mod did, per the names of the files themselves.

shouldn't be too difficult to do yourself.

step 1: locate where the vanilla fur armor is, probably around here --> (skyrim/data/meshes/armors)
step 2: download this nordic fur armor mod manually so that you can access the files (meshes/textures)
step 3: rename the nordic fur armor files to match the vanilla fur armor.
step 4: replace the now renamed nordic fur armor files with the orginal (vanilla) fur armor
step 5: actually download the nordic fur armor mod (with mod manager)

just to clarify: you NEED to have this mod itself installed before you can start renaming the files and replace the fur armor. if not you will get purple meshes or no mesh at all.

these days you can use the author's realistic armor mod to replace that goofy vanilla fur armor on the bandits with a more rational set, though its not as badass as this one. I use both mods and enjoy the unique look of the Nordic fur set that makes my character stand out among other fur armor users.

Really cool armor. looks great for a nord hunter type character. I especially like the extra fur over the forehead, it reminds me of ushanka hats.
pretty much everything NordwarUA uploads is golden in my eyes, so I'm sure I'll use this for a character build at some point. NordwarUA's armors help make Skyrim worth replaying.
some elements are very similar to the fur armor in the author's newer realistic armor mod. I would expect and hope that these two mods don't conflict at all. can someone confirm please?

After testing I can confirm that none of NordwarUA's mods conflict with each other, unlike some mod authors work.

    Quiet for a moment !
This reminds me of the "terrible place" from Morrowind.

Nice work. It's based on the show I see. If you are interested then look up ASoIaF: Tabletop Miniatures Game has really nice takes on armours.
