I made a retexture for the mudcrabs themselves too, I just didn't release it yet. Maybe I just add them as an optional file here. You can check out the images tab on my profile for WIP screenshots.
Oh look forward to it! I know the vanilla high rez pack texture is very good already, but the compression on their normal map is pretty harsh. If anything a new normal would be awesome. :)
That would be going back to vanilla resolution, why would I do that? There is no performance impact, the textures are already saved in appropriate compression and the size of those meshes would almost require 2K textures, I decided for the lower resolution already because its just clutter items.
