Thank you, Jon! I would like to suggest you do the same for ALL waterfalls and city water meshes, even considering that they covered by the Skyrim Particle Patch and here is a big reason to do it: usually, when player have the particle patch, he able to reduce the [PARTICLE] setting lower the nighttime intensity of the water, BUT the water splashes becoming completely black, also the ground fogs disspearing at night, since they attached to the [particle] setting too. If you make such patched meshes for all waterfalls, players will be able to make the ground fogs and water splashes at night visible again. For example, I really love the beauty of the ground fogs above the marshes and water, I also noticed that all waterfalls have increased brightness comparing to other water meshes in all water mods and particle patch. So, I think all waterfall meshes should be darkened. Well, I just shared my humble opinion about things which remains unnoticed by many.
i'd looove this! i still get bright night falls even w/ Particle Patch. i think part of it may be because i had SkyFalls inside a large merge i made, and much later i added DYNDOLOD. so i may have 2 meshes representing falls sometimes. i know this is the case on some because i can disable them w/ console and see there's 2 meshes for falls.
I have a weird "black" waterfalls in whiterun and in markarth when using Obsidian weathers; Particle Patch is unable to fix this + he recently updated his mod and removed all water-rwt-related fixes.
I think the Whiterun water meshes should be covered by the Skyrim Particle Patch. If you have the patch and are using ENB, go into your ENB [PARTICLE] settings and lower the nighttime intensity setting.
