2.0 has finally been finished. While I haven't distributed any buffs among NPCs, I finally managed to finish reworking the system and adding a new MCM, allowing for a bit of customization. For now, I'll need to take a bit of a break from working on the mod, but I have plans for features of future updates, so please stick around! One last thing to note however, is that the mod should now be safe to use for dedicated playthroughs!
This is weird this worked for a time in fact too well that it always interrupted my intro. But after I got 3 other mods installed, it stopped working. One is Animated Armory, Brutal Pain, and Health Regeneration. I disabled the new mods, uninstalled Attributes Reborn and reinstalled and it's still not working. I'm using Nexus mod manager should I try manually installing it?
And another clever question: To level and gain the ability to increase an attribute, I have to level my skills 100 times? Isn't that a bit too much? I understand that increasing the attributes every player level might be a bit overpowered, but this seems cruel :-). Could this ammount be configurable in the MCM menu too? Thanks.
That's not exactly how it works. For Skyrim's leveling system and for this leveling system, whenever you increase a skill, that skill's level is used as the value of experience you receive towards your current experience. For example, say that you level up your one-handed to level 30; you would then gain 30 points of experience towards your character's level. Essentially, I'm just using the same leveling and experience system as vanilla Skyrim.
I just started a new game (well, transferred an Xbox save to PC) which means it has no mods, and so I'm thinking of playing with Attributes Reborn. I do use Character Creation Overhaul with all my previous PC games, so I'll try to see if Attributes Reborn plays nicely with CCO, as I add both of these mods into this un-modified, transferred game.
But it's one of those things. I grew up with all those numbers, and I don't care if they seem arbitrary in Skyrim and some other modern RPGs, I like seeing my character grow on spreadsheets! I fear that the next generation of RPGs will dumb down the numbers even further. Skills will be gone. Health / Magicka / and Stamina will be gone. In their place will be a sort of all-in-one number which determines how many "wellpoints" our characters have . It'll be a quick at-a-glance sort of indicator which requires absolutely no planning or strategy at all. Boo.
Quite agree indeed, I don't believe when Todd said Starfield gonna be hardcore RPG for being role-playing since they have Microsoft(money obviously) to support them but nah..
I love the idea of this mod, as it adds some much needed roleplay to Skyrim, but for me, the level doesn't progress ever. My character's level does, but not the one added by this mod. I installed it on a pre existing, low level character. Don't know if that might be why
Well, by default, this mod is already compatible with special edition, all you would have to do is manually install the mod on special edition. As for compatibility, I haven't tested all too many of these, but I can say that the mod is seemingly compatible with Apocalypse, Thunderchild, UESSEP, and Cutting Room Floor, but I can't say for certain for the other mods.

But unfortunally it does not work.
Everytime I want to start a new game with the mod enabled the main menu screen will play the music in an endless loop.
Any chance for an update / fix?

If it's not, can you make compatibility patches? Thanks again. :)
