Finally an update for the LE version! You missed quite a few updates because I didn't know how to backport. But now I do! I haven't been able to get ahold of Kojak, so I've re-released it as a new mod myself to make it easier for me to manage.
Biggest new things: - Much more compatible with Immersive Horses!! - Diverse horse stats! - Diverse horse builds! - Another 'special', Nightingale horse, Veles - Unicorns!

I love this mod as I stated in a previous comment. I just came across something I was curious if it is normal or not. I was riding across the open fields on my way to rorikstead when I ran into a herd of horses. I thought "Oh cool." Then without me moving at all they started coming at me to attack me. Not wanting to kill any of them I ran until they stopped chasing. Is this supposed to happen or is something up?
No, that's not supposed to happen, none of the horses should be aggressive! @.@ That's the herd just west of whiterun I assume? I can take a look at it tomorrow, but I cant think of any reason they would do that! They should be running away if anything! D:
That happened to me too once. I don't remember if I had SkyTEST installed at the time or not with this mod. SkyTEST renames some of the horses in this mod (just calls everything 'horse'), so it might have been that mod. Maybe they saw me kill an Elk nearby and were panicked.
Yes that's them. They are the only ones out of the new horses I have found that do it. The others run away or pay no attention to me and let me get close to them.
Well, I tested it out with my half-converted-to-classic 2.2 version and they seem to be happily unaggressive for me.. So I'm not sure :s Does it happen consistently for you now, or just that once?
It happens whenever I run into them. I have this and convenient horses installed. Everything else animal related are visual overhauls. I don't know whats up.
Finally done! Here it is! I'm not sure it will fix your problem, because I'm still not sure what could have caused it. But if it doesn't, I'm fairly sure that enable/disabling them should reset them back to normal!
The new mod worked. I went out to where I saw them last and tried approaching them and the just casually trotted off instead of attacking. Thank you! :)
I see what the problem is now. That horse died awhile back apparently. I thought it just got lost because of me grabbing another horse nearby to ride on.
For some reason, the Whiterun Stable is no longer running the script to respawn a new horse and have Skulvar's script sell it to me. I spawned a new 68d74 horse and enabled/resurrected it, so that one is sitting pretty in the stable now. But Skulvar acts like he is no longer in the horse business. So I killed him to see if his son would take over. Nope. He has no dialogues about horses either. Everyone's factions seem to be alright. Things worked fine until I reached level 53. It happens.
For now, I can just ride the horse and have it walk back home whenever I jump off or fast-travel somewhere.
Aww, sadness. :( If this was 2.0+ of MH, your horse would have been set to essential. :/
I believe whiterun horse dying/respawn/reselling is a vanilla bug, and I think I read that Immersive horses fixes it, but I'm guessing you'd have to have it installed beforehand..
But! I think you should be able to fix the horse yourself with the console! Open console, click horse, type in: setfactionrank 00068d78 1 (for player horse faction) setownership
Skulvar no longer has dialogue for selling horses. He may have been a hostage somewhere that I had to go rescue once? That usually messes up NPC merchant stuff for the rest of the game.
Quality Bethesda at its best. But those codes are to be used on the horse, it should let you bypass Skulvar all-together, and make the game think you own the horse like before.
I ended up going way way back in my save files until I found one where my horse was alive and fine still, and Skulvar was working as well. Then I installed SkyTEST. So I am looking at the records to see what to keep from this mod and that mod so I can get the most from each.
This is an older version of the mod, so it would probably break the horse textures, since IH uses a different horse mesh.. I'll see if Kojak can port the newest version for all the fixes/updates!
Hi everyone! I can confirm that this mod works with convenient horses unique frost by mitchalek as well as arvak replace by chucacu. I tried it out in my game and they work together with no issue. Awesome mod! I always thought horses should be waaay more diverse than vanilla is set up to be. Now to set out looking for all the new additions. :D Endorsed!
If you load your Arvak mod after MH, it should work~ If the mod doesn't include a new mesh for arvak then it will still use MH's new mesh with whatever changes your Arvak mod makes. So he'll just look a little bigger/sturdy, but still have whatever enhancements the mod makes... If you want the vanilla Arvak mesh too, uhh maybe Kojak can backport that from my SE one under optional files?
I didn't realize there are so many people still playing LE! Happy to see you all can still enjoy SE mods, thanks to awesome people like Kojak! :) I don't check comments back on Oldrim nexus as often as I do SE nexus, but when I do I still appreciate all of them! :D
I downloaded this for SE yesterday just to endorse the good work, and today I woke up to this! Thanks for the backport, I'm excited to use this in my game.

Does it happen consistently for you now, or just that once?
Or if you know how use xedit, make them all cowardly and help no one, under npcs they're the ones with herdWR in the names
Otherwise I'll just need to hurry up and release 2.2 for oldrim and hope it fixes it somehow @.@
