: Here again commenting. From all other mods I saw about Skooma tweaks, this one stands better. The fact that it does not use any extra script just makes Papyrus happy. I did a 500 Hours of playthrough recently and have picked around +120 Skooma bottles, never used them because of the cheap Stamina recovery, MAN even the Wine, Meads, Ales and these other alcoholic stuff has a small side effect. Finally Skooma stands for something and can be used for a nice roleplay with this Mod.
I wish to leave a small suggestion if you don't mind.
You could also look for the Redwater Skooma It's the same as Skooma but with more potent stamina recovery albeit a joke either. The only Mod I saw of it just adds bizarre effects that I, personally, doesn't feel matching much for its name.
Giving Dragonborn the ability to brew Skooma could be interesting too.
Consuming it while in towns or in the presence of other NPCs could trigger a bounty, similar to what happens when you become Werewolf of Vampire lord, but I think this is already asking too much.
Giving that you cared for updating this Mod, I encourage you to think about these suggestions above.
no, is not enough. the addiction will be like, -SUPER VERY GOOD BOOS for 1 hour (just to defeat a boss or something) after 24 hs you recieve the penalty -The PENALTY must be like -30 to all skills for 30 days or drink another Skooma. -Make guards throwing you to prison if they see you under the effects of skooma - If you are defeated by a Bandit, there is a chance that you get "Skoomed"
The Skooma intoxication visual effect from iNeed never worked for me with ENB on, but the Skooma visual effect from this mod DOES work with ENB!
For anyone considering downloading, the visual effect lasts 1 minute total. 10 seconds of purpleish blurred double-vision with a heavy slow effect followed by an additional 50 seconds of a reddish blurred double-vision.

Would love to see more from this, perhaps some misbehaviour? What if guards or other npc's don't like it if you look high? Can't get work or are refused entry into stores while high? Isn't there a drunk animation walk in skyrim? CAn we make player temporarily use that walk animation if too high? Refused entry into jarl castles? Some dialogue options when high would be hilarious eg hurl insults at passers by. Would love to seem more from this addiction idea please although I realise I'm asking a lot here it's still fun to ponder possibilities lol

This is my tweaked version of this mod. I modified it to has lethargy, overdose, addiction, and euphoria effects. This one has much shorter durations for the effects than the original mod. The author is free to use or delete it from here.
