So I decided to try and use this for SSE it works fine with the exception of the gold ones which crash the game as soon as i hover over them in the item menu. I know it's unsupported but any idea what would cause that specific set to cause a ctd?
Edit in he end I just went into SSEDIT and deleted alll the gold ruby items. Seems to be fine now.

I've stumble on the same bug with Skyring for SSE. For some reason the ruby cube map causes SSE to crash, to avoid this simply copy the AveED_Gem.dds cube map and rename it to AveED_Ruby.dds (textures/cubemaps/...)
However the rubies aren't that deep red anymore, but that's just minor.
      Hope that helps you out.

      cheers.

Ave - I see a lot of your other mods also use the Gem cube map. Will it cause issues for those by removing / renaming that file?

      Removing; yes! Renaming: not really.

      cheers.

Awesome and thank you. That did the trick but the ruby doesn't look much like a ruby anymore. They look more like diamonds. Any chance you have a fix in the works or is there something I can reference to try and fix it?

Running the ruby cube map through Cathedral Assets Optimizer with necessary texture optimization fixes this issue with crashing. BTW, Ave's Moon Amulet published for SSE has the same ruby cube map and caused the crashing for me (I had loaded this SSE mod below the piercings in hopes it would prevent the issue, but it didn't. Cathedral's optimization solved it.) So, on the textures tab in CAO, check Process textures and check Necessary optimization. It leaves the other textures alone, but updates the ruby cube map. No more CTD!

      Awesome belly piercings!! Thanks!!

Thanks! I'm a little new to CAO. Which directory do you select to run the texture optimization?

Edit: NVM, I figured it out. Just downloaded the manual zip, unpacked, and ran CAO directly on that folder, then copied the cubemap.

[SOLVED] It is outside the body and i've done batch build in all your assets :C. Any idea of how to solve?

First, i apologize for my bad english, but i'll try to explain here what i've done to fix this bug.

    1. Run Bodyslide.
1.1 Choose your preset and BUILD it. A window will pop telling you where it is located /meshes/actors/characters/...
--- Before going to the next step, go to the piercings folder and make a backup of the one you're about to mod ---
    2. Run Outfit Studio (If you know how to run Bodyslide, you may know what you must do to run Outfit Studio).
2.1 File -> Load Reference -> From file: (the preset you've just built)
    2.1 File -> Load Outfit -> (the one you've made a backup)
    3. Edit it the way you want
--- If you made something wrong while editing, consider closing Outfit Studio without saving and repeating
3.1 File -> Export as NIF -> Name it exact the same and in the same folder.
--- Just for sure, load it on Outfit Studio again and check if it is correct. The body must NOT be exported.

Thanks so much. So Im posting this to help others on Skyrim Special Edition. For me I thought they were invisible, but they might be inside your character just behind the belly button, after you build them using bodyslide. If theyre inside your body and don't know how to fix it, and dont want to change the body you're using to fit the piercings, but instead change the piercings to fit your body, you can follow this guide. Its gonna be dumbed down because it's my first time using bodyslide and outfit studio to fix something. keep in mind that for some reason for me, a few of them the gems dont render properly and you only see the metal. Im not a bodyslide/outfit studio expert so i didnt bother fixing that. They all display nicely anyway and it was okay to not have the gem on 2 or 3. worth it if you like sexy piercings.
To follow this guide exactly. You need mod organiser 2. Bodyslide x64 set up as an executable in mod organiser 2.
Bodyslide>settings. "game data path" should be (mod organiser folder)\overwrite\

What i did was install the mod using mod organizer 2.
Then downloaded cathedral assets optimiser. Made cathedral an executable in mod organizer just like skse or sse which im hoping you know how to do. Directed cathedral to the mod folder in (mod folder)/Aves Belly Piercings <-- selected this folder.
Cathedral has a guide for converting mods on what settings to use so read the website.
    Converted using cathedral.
Now Enable the mod and batch build the piercings in bodyslide for your body either cbbe or cbbe hdt version. hoping you know where to put these files. For me this built the models to access ingame, but they were inside my body. It's something to do with bodyslide building them for legendary edition body. so walk around in game on a weird angle against a wall so you can see inside yourself.
If theyre inside your body. Launch bodyslide. my bodyslide writes to overwrite folder. you can set it to do that in settings. My instructions will reflect this.
    Go straight into outfit studio.
File>Load reference. tick "from file". Now browse and find the exact body you're using in-game.
For me it was in the folder \mods\CBBE physics body and clothing\meshes\actors\character\character assets\
in the right folder you should see femalebody_0, femalebody_1, femalebodyastrid_0 etc etc etc.
    Load "femalebody_1"
    File>load outfit>browse
navigate to wherever you put the meshes you built so you could see them ingame.
for me it was (mod folder)\CBBE physics body and clothing\meshes\AveED\Jewelry\SkyPirc
    Now open 01_1
Do you want to optimise nifs for special edition? or whatever it says, select YES.
Now before you fudge around, if this is your first time on outfit studio. These are the basic controls: Right mouse button twists and rotates. mouse wheel zooms in and out. Mouse wheel button changes the actual point you are zooming towards.
so now use this info to focus on the belly button and maybe zoom in a little. being at an angle to the belly button will help.
On the right panel near the top you will see "new outfit" below it, "CBBE", "Metal", "Gem"
Click "Metal", hold CTRL and then click on "Gem". Make sure "Metal" and "Gem" are the only things highlighted in the right panel.
along the top youll see a bunch of symbols and circles and shit. Find the one that looks like its a clock showing 3PM or 12:15. Its got 2 arrows making a right angle.
Click that clock/Right angle Icon I elegantly described. Some things should pop up.
Click and hold on the tiny blue dot (Not the blue ring) and drag the mouse outward from the reference body. maybe adjust it more to get it how you like it on the body but you can get away with just bringing it outside of the body and lining it up. If you mess up, and want to start again, Close out and reload reference, and outfit. If the body is being adjusted and not the piercings, its because you have "Cbbe" selected in the right hand panel instead of or with "Metal" and "Gem"
When you get it the way you like it.
Go up the top and select slider>conform selected Check the box "No target limit" then select ok.
    then Slider>conform all>no target limit>Ok
    then Slider>set base shape.
Now go to file>Save project as
    Copy "output file name"
Paste in "display name" and also put like 000 or edit on the start or end or whatever so you know what this is.
Beside "Display name" click on "To project"
    select "Low/high weight output"
Make sure the box "copy reference shape into output" is ticked.
    Select "Save"
Now exit outfit studio and close bodyslide. (Close outfit studio AND bodyslide each time you save a project, not just outfit studio.)
    Open bodyslide.
At the top in Outfit/body find the one you just worked on.
"Preset" Should be set to the body you use or atleast one with the same bellybutton position.
Preview it. see if it looks good.
    Then click build.
It'll say where it builds it to. For me it goes into overwrite folder.
You just built 2 Nif files named 01_0 and 01_1.
do you remember the folder you used Load the outfit in outfit studio?
Reminder: (For me it was File>Load Outfit>Browse(mod folder)\CBBE physics body and clothing\meshes\AveED\Jewelry\SkyPirc)
For me these were the old ones. check the "date modified". if bodyslide isnt set up to use an overwrite folder it could have just replaced the original files automatically.
for me the outfits i build always end up in overwrite folder. I navigated to the original meshes i built to view the piercings ingame, and replaced them with the meshes i just built. the names should be the same. if you followed steps. that's 1/12 outfits as you can see in the folder. craft the correct piercing in game to test if it's all correct.
Now you have rudimentary experience with bodyslide like me haha.

I followed this and was able to move it outside the body in outfit studio and everything, but both before doing this and after it its invisible in the game. (It never appeared in my body to begin with, and changing it in outfit studio didn't change that) I converted the mod folder using cathredral using mo2 using the instructions on the website. Idk why I can't see it :/

This is beyond any doubt the best looking piercing mod for Skyrim!!
I've ported it to SE and it works wonders. The new piercings that come with the new update look amazing!

The thing is, with this new update, the piercings are now invisible.

After looking at the mod page again, I've noticed that this mod is now based on CBBE instead of UNP.
I'm a bit of a technophobe and I've tried CBBE and bodyslide before but it just gives me a bad headache.
I really don't want to go through all that again.

So, might it possible to add a version that works without the need to use bodyslide? Like it used to.
Just for those who can't or don't want to use CBBE.
I would be so very grateful!

Thanks so much for your commendation. It is on my to-do-list to add UUNP bodyslide files for this mod, so UNP can be generated. I also want to port them over to SE, but didn't found the mood to go into that (damn all those projects I want to finish...)
I'm sorry to say that, but I'm not planning to add UNP only files, simply because I'm not using UNP anymore, plus it is more time consuming to create the models.

      cheers. ave

      Thanks for the reply!

Hm, I guess I'll just have to figure out how I edit them in outfitstudio. Maybe that upcoming UNP bodyslide file will help in that regard.
In any case, thanks again for all the work you've put into this fantastic mod!!

P.S. Porting this mod is pretty easy to do. It only takes less than a minute with CAO; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23316 ^^

You can easily do that yourself if you use CAO!
      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23316

Took me a lot of time to even try it because I get really afraid to mess things up. But in all honesty, you only need to press one button.
