      I never used the SE version of Legacy, so no idea what changed. Its highly likely that this retexture is no longer needed.

      Heres a little tip for you! Download the mod, add it to your favorite mod manager (or just throw it in manually after LOTD) and run a SSE Optimizer and your good to go in SSE

      This only has textures, so you don't need to run the Optimizer (it is for meshes).
      You should just be able to drop it right in for SE.
