i used the gas trap fx. example of it is in stony creek cave in vanilla. adding it to the mesh is simple but upon saving it names all nodes the same name automatically so I can’t tell you which node, however the shape is the large flat one with only a normal map for its texture.
EDIT - Oops, it's textures too. Let me see... YES!!!!! Ramccoid's textures work perfectly with these meshes, and look great!!! Wow, the hotsprings look so perfect now, thank you!!! EDIT EDIT - Oops, I'm wrong, Ramccoid's textures DO NOT work with this mod. I obviously needed a nap or something yesterday.
ramccoids mod is not compatible with this mod cause it change the same meshes. From STEAM-mod-page: "... . I have redirected the textures in the meshes to use their own textures added by me...."
Ok, i’m not sure what changes to the meshes ramccoid made and i don’t wanna step on their toes by essentially taking their meshes so i’m not sure if I can make them compatible from my end.
you could make these meshes compatible by redirecting the texture paths to ramccoids’s steam textures however, or i would be willing to make a patch with edited texture paths myself.
There is no patch to be made. It edits the same meshes. You use one mod or the other. A compatible "patch" would be to recreate the meshes and combine features from both mods - creating a new meshes entirely.
