Great sound packs! Ill be sure to use them for my next playthroughs! Endorsed!
Not sure if its a bug with the Rose pack but they dont play in-game with the sound files in wav format but they do when i encode them into the xwm format but they tend to play every other time you do an action. EG: You draw a weapon the sound/voice plays. Next time you draw your weapon nothing plays untill the next time you draw the weapon again. Kinda sounds like the head tracking mod is expecting another sound file when there isnt one
I Might have messed up something while encoding the sound/voice files.
Thank you, and thanks for endorsing! If you don't mind, I'm gonna sticky your post so that others might see it if they have the same question.
The voice files don't play every time for most events, that's correct. It's due to my personal preference - I like it when there's a chance that the character will comment, not an automatic comment every time. That said, some events always trigger comments - it's slightly different for all voice sets and depends on the lines I had available. You will also always hear Hello, Goodbye and Random greetings if you define a greeting key or enable automatic greetings. See the OTHER NOTES section on the description tab for details. To test that a voice set is working correctly, define a Hello, Goodbye or Random key in the PC Head Tracking MCM, and press it a couple times. You should hear a comment every time. (I just tested the Rose voice specifically, and it's working as intended.)
If you want your character to always say something at a particular event, go to [Skyrim installation directory]\Data\Sound\FX\PC Head Tracking, look through the folders, and copy&paste additional copies of the lines you like where needed. PC Head Tracking and Voice Type expects up to 5 lines per event (except for lines in the Greetings folder, but I already added the maximum of 10 lines there, for reasons explained in the OTHER NOTES section). You can also delete any lines you don't like, or replace them with other lines if you want!
XWM vs. WAV format shouldn't really have any impact on this, except that converting to XWM might apparently change the sound volume in game. I haven't tried it, can't say either way.
Thanks for taking the time to try out these voice packs, hope you continue to enjoy them in the future!
Honestly ,I fell in love with the voice.Great work, just one problem though,it doesn't automatically greet anyone, hotkeys work fine but no greeting on interaction.Using ae btw, other voice packswork fine so just wondering how to fix this. Great mod again and endorsed!
Thank you! These are just voice files, they fully depend on the framework to actually play, so make sure that the automatic greetings settings are configured correctly.
Love your mod, trying with the first male voice pack. You have plans to do packs with vanilla voice assets? Just got used to the YoungMale vanilla voice of PC Head Tracking and can't find something like that anywhere. Anyway, great work!
Thank you! I think others have released various vanilla voices for PC Head Tracking so I currently have no plans to do that. If you liked the Male Young vanilla voice, you can try the Pure voice from my mod though. Hope you like it!
