love it it makes this armor pop-up as a better shining knight thing not the usual "basement" dwemer armor lol check my uploaded picture - I don't have the normal texture anymore I was using ancient dwemer metal xtudo patch - xtudo ancient is more detailed because it has rust dirt scratchs and stuff but I wouldn't say it looks better, it's different it looks very dull and non reflective - pictures dont do this mod justice it "shines" ;) when you turn around and move - the base install looks "odd" to me like it's saturating shiny so I chose base install then the less reflective patch - I did base->less reflective->less shiny which make the armor still look more new than vanilla but a bit too dark for me I wanted the new look to differentiate from my ancient dwemer "rusted" look
I haven't touched the weapons yet. I kind of mod things as I discover them in my playthroughs and haven't really used the weapons much, but I'll definitely have a look at them and see if they could benefit from the same treatment. Thanks.
You mean remaking the normals, environment maps, enhancing the textures, changing cubemaps and the mesh eV scale for ALL the vanilla armor and weapons?
That would be one hell of a project lol.
Or did you just mean the Dwarven armor and weapons? I'm thinking about taking on the Dwarven stuff, but the aetherium weapons are taking awhile since I'm having to retexture them to make them not look like plastic when they're shiny. Also, I'd want to work from the outstanding aMidianBorn Book of Silence weapons by CaBaL120 and I'd need his permission first.
But I've actually already done some of the dark brotherhood armor from Dark Brotherhood HD Armor Retexture. You can check out an early version of my shiny leather shrouded armor in the comments there.
Absolutely AMAZING...! I love it already! <3 (And this is ALWAYS the BEST ARMOR for both my Male and Female Dragonborns, for good reason... ^^ I usually keep the helmet on for both of them. :3 )Looking VERY much forward to the weapons. ^-^
No problem, as much as I hate to admit it though... I cannot download it just yet as I am currently stuck with just seeing the image previews from this site as my PC has yet to recover from when it went inoperative around the end of 2016 unfortunately, and while my PC "works" again, it is far from being back to 100% like it was in 2016 as it has an annoying "dark tint" issue as well as horrible lag when running memory-intensive titles such as Skyrim unfortunately... :(
But I am in fact being honest, I REALLY do love what I see here, I really do. ^^ I hope you can do the Aetherium Weapons some justice as well, while retaining their VERY badass Aetherium-based theme like in the original mod compilation they're in. :3
As long as it's installed in the same place it will. I've never used Requiem so I'd have to check, and I wouldn't be able to do that until later tonight.
Yes, The Tools of Kagrenac uses the same armor utilizing the same file paths from lautasantenni's mod, so my textures/meshes will overwrite his if you install mine after The Tools of Kagrenac. Note that mod only contains the bronze-colored dwarven power armor and not the silver-colored aetherial armor from lautasantenni's mod. I'm going to update my mod description with this info.
