If you install this above your Bashed Patch or Smashed Patch (which you probably should), you'll need to rebuild the Bashed Patch in Wrye Bash, or Smashed Patch in Mator Smash, to see all the changes in-game.

I've uploaded a new 1.4 version. I triple-checked that every affected helm is keyworded for "Hair" and "Circlet" body slots, like other helms. In the ARMA records, I removed "LongHair" and (except for Khajiit) "Ears" keywords, in case that had something to do with causing invisible heads.  Also added 2 ground meshes to the SIC versions.

If this STILL results in invisible heads or invisible helms, then I probably just have to retire the mod as unworkable for whatever reason(s). If you have trouble with one particular helm, please try to identify it so I can look into that specific helm; there could be some mesh issue that is fixable.

Hi, there, I think you uploaded the wrong file, did you? it still appears headless and other bugs. I used Ancient Nord Draugr Gear Fixes - USLeEP with Ancient Nord Draugr Gear Fixes - WAFR no SIC and the mod order is under the bottom in my test.

The first claims to be a headless pic, but I see the head (though I don't see a helm; is that what you're reporting? Which helm is it?).  The second, I didn't make custom ground meshes for this stuff; if vanilla, SIC, or WAFR didn't provide a ground mesh, I just used the original mesh, and yes it will be large.  On the third thing, I'm not sure what could even make that possible, but will go over the details again.  I've never heard of being able to equip two items with same body slots.  Even if you equip two items with multiple body slots, if one slot coincides, then one item will de-equip the other.  Next time I fire up TES5Edit for some debugging I'll go back through them and make sure they're all in the hair slot.

Can you be more specific? I'll be happy to patch it up.

I am also having headless character syndrome when i try to equip any of the helmets '1fd77' '1fd7b' or '1fd7c'. they can all be equipped at once, and with other helmets, as well. I have tested it with males and females and it happens with both.

Thanks for the notes. I'm in process of doing a new STEP build, and will fix this as soon as I get that working with all the needed mods for fixing this one.

Ver. 1.3 should have this fixed now.  Sorry it took so long.  It was caused by the body slot on several of the originally non-playable versions being left as Head (the whole head, face and all), instead of being set to Hair and Circlet.

Let me know if any more weirdness arises.  I have a proper setup for mod making/fixing again.

PS: Anyone who downloaded 1.3 within the first 10 minutes or so, get it again. I accidentally uploaded from the wrong directory.

I believe the Helm of Yngol is the only helmet you can get in the normal game without console, that's a straight horned helmet, like the Dragur Deathlord helmet. Well have a great day, perhaps that texture file will help you in future endeavors and updates. Overall this mod looks good!

Yngol isn't vanilla, but added by SIC. I haven't even killt him yet, though I was digging around enough in these files for this mod to see where he came from. :-)

You're probably thinking of Armor of Yngoll that is also in SIC.The Helm of Yngol itself is vanilla.

Right! I stand corrected. (Or, rather, sit – I don't have a standing desk, ha ha).

This is a very good idea for game consistency. Thank you!

Thank you! The inconsistencies in this gear in SIC and the conflicts with WAFR always bugged me when I found the items in game. I'm glad to see these issues fixed.

Hope it suits. There were many ways to approach this (force them all Iron or Steel, force them all to have the exact same stats, etc. I ended up taking the long way. :-) Some of the exact values are judgement calls (like making helm X just a little better than helm Y), but it makes the gear less boring.

The one thing I thought of doing but didn't, because it would require non-trivial mesh work, is splitting the horned version that looks different for M and F wearers (M = ram horns on the side, F = deer antlers on top) into two separate items. Would need to either re-do the meshes in weights, for head width (esp. on males), or split the meshes into bits and "remix" the nodes, splicing antlers onto the male helms, and ram horns onto female ones. Sounded like it would take days (for me, anyway), so I took a pass on it.
