New update is out (finally)! I've tested it on all races with zero crashes! Let me know in the comments if you're having issues still. And no, it won't be two more years if there are!
Why did it take so long? Simple: Life got in the way, my motivation was shot, and I really didn't know what I was doing. Looking back now, I made promises that I should've known I couldn't fulfill, and I truly apologize. I know a hell of a lot more now than I did back when I started this, and I'm much more confident in my abilities.
"But Falro, what about the other hairs you promised?" Well, I'm not going to promise anything this time, but considering I have much more free time now, like many of us, I'll take a look and see if I can't get something out :)
Not getting any crashing but it could be because it's not showing up at all in my racemenu, it's at the bottom of my load order so it should show but I am also trying to use it on vanilla female orc race.
It's been a while since I've had an Oldrim install but I'll see about doing some testing. Does it work for other races? Also, when you say it doesn't show up, it the hair invisible/not there when you select it in RM or does the RM option not show up at all?
And guess what? That was exactly what it was! I might have also fixed the crashing too, so I'll quickly test in-game and should have a new version up within the hour if all goes well!
EDIT: Alright, update is up! Tested with no problems on all humanoid races (i.e. everything except Argonians and Khajiit). Let me know if there are any problems on your end. I have had a few reports of crashing. I have been unable to test it as of yet, but for people who are experiencing crashes when selecting the hair in Racemenu, could you please comment with the race you are using, whether or not you have any mods that affect the vanilla races, and what version of RaceMenu (if any) you have? That would help immensely to narrow down the issue.
I'm using the Ningheim race, RaceMenu version 3.4.5. RaceMenu loads fine and acts normally. I can navigate through the many hairstyles I have, but as soon as I navigate to the first position on the Hair slider (which is where this mod's hairstyle is located) the game immediately crashes. The crash is repeatable and consistent (around 6 times in a row).
I also uninstalled this mod, then followed the same steps in RaceMenu as before-- and the crash no longer occurs.
Thanks for the info. I've been really busy recently, but I will finally have time to test tomorrow. Just to make sure I have all the info: Are you starting a new game or editing an existing save? Also, what other mods do you have that affect the races, and if you enable only the minimum number of mods, does it still happen?
I only tried it on an existing save. I haven't tried disabling any other mods. The only mods that affect races in my load order are: The Ningheim race (and its requirements) The Ningheim Race - Scripts Update The Ningheim Race - SOS compatibility patch - Smooth Body version

Unfortunately that is far beyond my current skill level, but if anyone else would like to do it, and gets permission from Dividedbythe9s as well, I would be happy to upload it here.
I made a sticky post asking for information about the crashes. Would you mind taking a look and giving that and any other info you feel relevant? It would especially help if there were any error messages, or whether it crashed the instant you selected it or if it was delayed or there were strange effects or anything. Thanks!

This is awesome! I know that lots of people will love using those beards! I hope you can release the non-braided beard from Khord -The Lost Dwemer, too.
