Or instead of having an extra mod, You can just go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Video and delete the only file in there and bam, Done. Do it all the time. There is no reason to ever enable it period lol.
The point of this mod is so that you can disable/enable the bethesda logo at will through a mod manager application. I understand this mod is very basic and can see why you would find it useless but not everyone wants the logo gone forever and not eveyone wants to delete files from their installation directory. I personally find this a cleaner way of doing it, if you dont want the mod then just dont download it.
You may be that one or two people who mod skyrim that might not want one of the most anoying things in skyrim to be gone. And when you speak about cleaner, Trust me, One less file in skyrim that does not need to be there in the first place is much more "Cleaner" But hey, Whatever works for you bro, nothing wrong with that. ( I also love how were having the same convo on your Newrim and Oldrim version of this mod XD )
Yeah it is kinda funny we're having the same conversation through both versions, although I appreciate you keeping your responses slightly different! :) Even if there was never a reason to enable the logo back again, it's nice to keep all changes (even extremely minuscule ones) via the mod manager so that you can easily track them, and disable all mods back to vanilla skyrim whenever you want. I do think it's cleaner this way, and you dont have to go searching down 7 folders to make the change. But like you say, whatever works for you
You can achieve the same thing by editing the skyrim.ini file. In the [General] section is a variable called sIntroSequence. By default, it's value is BGS_LOGO.BIK which run the movie file. If you remove that name so that it just says
sIntroSequence=
you won't get the movie. To put the movie back, change it back to:
sIntroSequence=BGS_LOGO.BIK
Note: if the line does not exist at all in your skyrim.ini file, you can safely add it.
