Quick question though: I noticed some animals such as hyenas and mastodons and I was wondering if you ever aim to make a mod featuring these animals in the wild? (non vale variety)
that would be absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, I do not know how to mod (although I was reading a bit about it today) but my work schedule limits me a bit.
But yeah, I have a background in biology and vert (specifically Pleistocene) paleontology so if you need insight on "realistic" areas, I can provide that.
For example, American mastodons were primarily browsers (you can tell by their teeth) so they would likely feel more at home near the Rift which is a deciduous environment.
Cave Hyenas probably lived in a variety of environments (like extant African spotted) but they have a clan social system, so you would probably only encounter two or three at the same time (and maybe one).
