I always liked this mod back in the day. But its format interferes with dialogue menus. Not all dialogue choices are displayed. So you miss out on a lot of things to talk about with NPCs in the game.
Fertigo is like a sweet caress to my eyes compared to the vanilla font, but I noticed the year in the current date disappears. It just says "4E", and nothing more.
Not only is Magic Cards an epic-looking font, it's a nostalgic one too. Because Magic Cards is the font used in Morrowind, the subjectively objectively greatest game, and greatest Elder Scrolls game, of alllllll timeeeeee
I played so much Morrowind when it first came out. I loved it. It was amazing.
I played it recently to relive the glory, and... it does not hold up. Nostalgia is a powerful drug. It was really good at the time because we didn't have anything to compare it to.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! I got Ordinator and when I use any of the fonts it cuts off those long perk descriptions. I've tried doing it manually and through mod manager, neither work properly for me
I know I'm late but I'll reply anyway in case anyone else has this problem. I also use Ordinator (with the Thief perks patch), so I do not know what it is that is causing the sentences to cut. I recommend simply reinstalling, (or if you use MO, you can simply make a new mod-profile)- then install the main font first, then see if your problem still occurs.
Good luck. (And thanks to the author for this awesome mod).
Any time a font is used that is wider (on a letter per letter basis) than the original game font, things like this will happen. The game doesn't create line breaks in text on the fly (with the possible exception of subtitles). It expects that a given letter will occupy a given amount of space, so it assumes that a given number of characters will fit in a given blank space - when the font is wider (and I believe most of these are) that isn't true, but the system doesn't know that, so the sentences and descriptions end up cutting off.
Short Version - this isn't the fault of the mod, it's basically the result of Skyrim's setup... which to my knowledge, we can't change.
Why is there a "$" sign before every word, it doesn´t seem to disappear ever. i changed to another file and the style changed but the "$" is still there
Old post but whatever, do you happen do be using SkyUI? I just tried out this mod and realized it conflicts with it. If you have SkyUI overwrite MFR the mod does nothing, if you have MFR overwrite SkyUI, the characters for item names get messed up.
I don't think that can be right, since STEP Project has people install both mods (first this then SkyUI), and umpteen zillion people follow the STEP instructions, which recommend using Fertigo Pro.

Anyway, what kind of tool(s) would I need to fix it myself?
