ENB used is called PTR - Photorealistic Tamriel. Screenshots are taken in SSE. Don't use the 32bit version for SSE though. It needs to be all ported correctly first. I don't recommend you do it but it's gonna "work".
I'm still on break. There's gonna be some more stuff to Arngjar in a while. It's time to actually play the games again instead of just making content for them. lol
Changelog - 5th of February v.1.3 uploaded. Added more dialogue lines, added Hold E command companion, favor dialogue option, fixed gifts (sometimes Arngjar gave you 2 spell tomes. Now it's only 1) - 29th of January v.1.2 Updated uploaded. Fixed a couple dialogue lines not firing off correctly. - 29th of January v.1.2 uploaded. Added almost over 200 voicelines, added combat dialogue, added Idle dialogue, made minor changes to the player dialogue, existing voice lines re-recorded and fuzzed. - 29th of January v.1.1 uploaded. Removed the vanilla Favor Command which was there unintentionally causing issues. (I will see how I implement it differently) - 28th of January Initial Release uploaded.
Hi, I experienced something strange. I was in riften inn with Kaidan and Arngjar, and I told Kaidan to rest. And told Arngjar to wait outside the rented room door. Went to sleep and when I woke up, arngjar is no where to be seen. I opened my map and saw his marker all the way back in winterhold. And yeah I found him outside the inn of winterhold sandboxing. I dont know if anyone else experienced this? I will try again playing with him tomorrow as it is very late in my country.
Hey! If you were able to make him (me hah) accompany you again, it's probably that he got dismissed because he was waiting for too long. Keep in mind he doesn't like to stay outside in the cold. Nah, jokes aside, I don't see why he would have gone back. This shouldn't happen. Maybe you've dismissed him unintentionally? Sometimes the mouse goes crazy because the interface in this game is buggy and you select something different sometimes.
I like him, but right now there are two things that make me not wanting to use him: First is that he has waaaay to little text so he's very repetitive and second is that I wanted to make him wear a cool set of a robe, gloves and boots (mod), but he wears gloves and boots only, the robe doesn't show up on him.
Telling him to wait here causes him to walk back to Winterhold. Telling him that his home is the one in Windhelm causes him to ask how much money I have to own a home in Solitude.
Hello. Shouldn't be walking back to Winterhold if you tell him to wait. You sure you didn't dismiss him accidentally? lol Also, it's a random line. The home should still be set. I remember recording that one.
Custom voiced male followers are so rare so it's always nice to see more of these, plus this one seems to be really well done. Undoubtedly it needs more recognition. The only issue I have so far is that Arngjar follows a bit too close to your character, but it's just a minor disadvantage. Hope you are still working on this and I look forward to any further updates!
Hello, yes. He's not abandoned. I've spent more time playing the actual game again and making some minor stuff to keep pumping out content. It's on my to-do list to "fix" or adjust the follow radius. Glad you like him.
Soon, at some point. I'm still on break. In theory you could just use him for SSE. There are some technical issues but it'll all work just fine. Some people say using Oldrim mods for SSE can mess up your saves if not ported properly but I've been using some for almost 2 years and nothing ever happened. So, just saying. lol
I'm in my testing phase of reinstalling Skyrim. and I am excited to have Arngar in my playthrough. Just want to drop a note and say thanks. Keep up the good work.
Hello, thank you for the nice little comment. I'm currently on break so stay tuned for any future updates. I've got some more things planned for him. :)
Is there a way to have the follower follow lightly further away? When I'm standing around waiting for NPCs to finish talking to each other Arngjar is constantly in my ear *SOMETHING YOU NEEED?????* Always right next to me, if I inch away then he inches closer

Hello.
I will leave this post here so you can comment on it and report things to me directly.
Please don't go off-topic. I read the normal posts too and reply as soon as I can.

Marriable: No(t yet)
I'll keep it in mind for the next update and set the min./max. distance from 128/256 to 175/250 or something.
