No perks are affected, unless you download the Optional File, then the "Twin Souls Perk" would be edited to add 2 more raised dead (4 instead of 2) the name of the perk would also be changed to "Army Of Darkness"
is it maybe possible to get a verion where the spell is a power with maybe a 7 days cooldown? i like the mod and the concept but i dont play as a mage i would like to use it as a really powerfull and rare power.
Thank you for taking time to give this mod some feedback! The spell requires a huge amount of Mana in order for it to work (800), this places a limit on how many times you can use it effectively, the problem with giving it a "cool down" is not being able to resurrect multiple corpses at the same time, or worse still, a "misfire" of the spell and wasting it entirely..
I don't really see anything wrong with making an optional file and giving it a cool down tbh, and I will consider adding it as an option for the next update :)
I don't really use magic. Only a fire spell as a sidearm but that's about it. But f*#@ that shit. I'm going to download your mod anyway. Those illustrations looks damn good and would fit extremely well in my Berserk like Skyrim. The book looks, and feels evil, as all necromancy should be. And who knows. Maybe I might use necromancy as a sidearm.
Thank you so much rex10125! I have a lot of fun with this mod, I hope you do too! I like spells to feel powerful and unique, but not OP, that is what i tried to do here. I'm just starting to get back in to mod creating, and I will always come back to my mods, to update them and improve as I go along.
One of the most useful thing about Better Dead Thralls is the power that allows to summon your Dead Thralls. They often disappear or remain far behind, that spell solve the problem. Also, if you try to summon them and nothing appears, it means that they are permanently gone.
Do you think we could get a version with an area of effect instead of aimed effect? Because it would be less time consuming and it would look cool. Similar to the Night King in Game of Thrones. I hope it's possible, I can't find any spell that does this. thanks for your time.
Is it possible to "hide" them when we don't need and summon them when we need (ie. in a fight)? With this mod, it's nice that now we can have many reanimated minions, but having too many following us everywhere is really distracting especially when we're in a city/civilized areas. I really want to role-play as a single fighter necromancer, but also want to blend well in the society (ie. hiding my true colors). So it will be nice if the spell can also "store" them somewhere else then summon them when we need. What do you think?
Hello there! That is not a bad idea, it would be easy to implement also. I will remove the tag that upsets NPC's, regarding your neco companions, next update :)
If you are not keen on having so many Deadites following you around, I suggest to not raise so many, or kill them before you enter a civilized area, then raise them up again when you leave.
Thank you for taking time to comment, and for the useful input!
Regarding the amount of deadites, i do want to have as many as them as possible, so the amount is not a problem. Just that little immersion-breaking (or actually more into role-playing restriction) which disallow me to "store" them somewhere else (in your magical "pocket" maybe) and summon them when i need. You know, i actually have a hobby of collecting strong enemies i encountered along the way and make them my minions. So yeah, the amount will continue to increase, thus "storing" them become some kind of necessity XD
Ahh, I see! A true Army of Darkness, I like it! A way to have more Deadites would be to make a bash patch, increase the amount of summons / companions, uncheck everything but the tweaks and build the patch, and put it at the bottom of your load order (This may conflict with Ordinator)
I got it. But i actually don't plan to use bashed patch and instead use mator smash to patch all conflicting records. So i also want to ask what settings (ie. the records) we have to edit to allow us having more reanimated minions? Umm, will be good if you also include it in the next update, btw :3
As for the conflict, don't worry, i can patch it myself. I'm also using ordinator. If anyone also wants the file, i can share it
Hi qwerty! I'm not familiar with Mator Smash, so sorry. In Wry Bash there was a tab for "tweaks" where you can edit values, followers and summons was one of them, I will add another optional file, for more summons, as requested :)
Should probably indicate how this is different from your other Bound in Flesh mod. Maybe state in the other mod that it's been updated to this version so we know what's up?
This mod is great! If I ever make a necromantic character I'll definitely use it. I love how the pages aren't just vanilla Skyrim, there's actual sketches. I also love the design of the book. Great job!

@DoomxShadow The original mod uses Bad Gremlin's assets and art work. But I will add a link in the Bad Gremlin version, to this version.
