    Hi friends! Whenever I check nexus I have 30+ updates and I really struggle to check them all so if I haven't seen a comment or take a while to reply then I apologise. I've been incredibly busy with my new job and it is really easy to just... Not see them. I am a lot easier to contact through discord if you want to join my server or if there's more immediate questions you can message me there and I check that fairly frequently so you're more likely to get a quick answer within the day.

    As for progress... I will probably forget some of the changes right now because I'm on mobile but the script fix for the CTDs is done, I am working on a method of placing a custom marker to areas you haven't visited yet, the life mode hunting is done but untested currently, and there is now a dynamic waypointing system in testing stages that does take terrain into consideration. The waypointing will be optional for reasons that will become clear if I can get it working properly and that should hopefully improve pathing quite a bit, particularly over the longer treks. So yeah, that may now be in the next update if the progress continues and I'll hopefully be getting some screens/videos of it when it's a little more stable.

    Working on new update, implemented fix for skysouls and similar mods involving the book/hotkey causing CTD or freezing. Trying to fit in a few more improvements based on feedback. So here are a few general notes for clarity on things.

    Currently there is no way to obtain the blue map marker as it is a UI object. Please don't request this. There is also no way I could find of referencing the active quest. The guide archetype (clairvoyance) cannot be manipulated to work for this purpose.

    I will not be including animcam or any features requiring creating an skse plugin, at least for now. As much as I know C++, I simply do not have time to work on an skse plugin, update this mod and work on multiple other projects as well as life stuff. There are animcam/freecam mods out there, feel free to look them up. This doesn't mean I won't make any attempt to improve the camera issues at some point.

    My attempt to improve pathing is being developed but is unlikely to be in the next update. I don't want to rush it - there are a number of methods I am testing, but nothing so far is quite doing it as I'd like. Sucks!

    I will be implementing better outdoor AI for life mode in particular and attempting to improve on combat ai. Although, combat will never be as good as Npc so don't expect it to be.

    The horse being summoned is part of the mechanic and will not be removed. I won't be catering to anything I consider a personal preference. However, I am listening to all criticism and suggestions for improvement.

    I know a big criticism with the custom marker is that the player can only choose a location that they have already visited. I am hoping to get around this using a coordinate system in the MCM. May take some fiddling, but considering I can't get locations from the map itself, it's a workable alternative.

    Love the concept, but for some reason, even though the game I tested this on was minimally modded, the stop hotkey doesn't work, not using the default, nor if I change the hotkey to something else in case of conflict. So every time I start the autopilot (so far, I've tried life mode), the only way to stop it is to reload my save. I'll continue testing, but has anyone else experienced this?

    Edit: So the issue seems to be that certain actions just don't cancel when you stop the autopilot thing (at least in life mode). I've been stuck in a bed more than once, and the activate button (whether I have the prompt to activate the bed or not) will force my PC to get up. Meanwhile, sitting can be canceled by the vanilla means of simply using movement keys, but sweeping is NOT cancelled by either one, and I was only able to cancel it by unsheathing my weapon (or fists, since life mode sometimes unequips my weapon). I hope this is normal behavior and not any indication of stability issues.

    How do I disable horse riding? I just want to walk but it keeps summoning Fish to me every time I try to auto-pilot...

    Thinking to play this mod.

    Have an idea for a long time. Would be great to use this as a base to create a mod where your character is companion, follower,, mercenary and your goal to help Dovakhiin in his task. Dovakhiin is on autopilot, travelling, fighting, completing quest, asking your advice.

    Love the mod, but is there any way to allow for location discovery? for example when traveling from Riverwood to Whiterun, even tough you pass by the meadery, farms & stables, it doesn't register them as discovered. Is there a way do enable this?

    I just found out that Fish belongs to this mod. I always assumed Fish came from another horse mod I have. I have too many.
