though I tweaked the fading time to 4 minutes thanks to evanbgood's advice earlier: I quote it here if anyone wants to do do the same.

If you load up this mod as the active file in the creation kit and go to gameplay -> settings, you can adjust the value of "fattachedarrowagemax". By default it's 10.0, this mod makes it 1200.0. I'm going to test it at 45.0 (I'm willing to assume that the number is in seconds)."
Arrows stick in for far too long in this mod, and 200 arrows sticking into someone is ridiculous. It should be 15 maximum otherwise it appears to be a novelty rather than a cinematic mod. Ice Spikes sticking into people should fade away or melt after merely 1-2 minutes. I believe there is a bug, I played for maybe 3-4 hours straight with 2 arrows stuck in me for the duration of my playing. I had to sexchange via console to get rid of these arrows and I believe it is the fault of the mod. Indeed, arrows disappearing when using a healing spell would be very nice but I do not believe this mod is complex enough.
instead of sexchanging. just drop the arrows out of your inventory.
But I do agree they do stay in too long by default.An MCM menu to adjust this would be nice.Also an option (although probably impossible or atleast very difficult) to remove ice spears/spikes from this. Or maybe an option to make the Player immune to these effects would be easier.
I actually like the idea of this mod because I play without a cross hair and it helps me retain my arrows. Sometimes whilst not using the cross hair, I miss my target. So getting the arrows back that actually did hit my target, is nice.
Thank you, I was wondering why anyone would want to be riddled with arrows for hours. Seems like the mod would have an option to not show arrows in player bodies, but maybe that is hard, I've no idea.

I tweaked it to 240.0 = 4 minutes
