I haven't tried your mod yet, but this is probably the closest to what I've been searching. basically My idea of a "staff mod" would sound pretty simple: Create a blank staff first, then use it at an arcane enchanter and enchant it just like you would a normal weapon, the magnitude should be affected directly by the destruction, enchanting, potions etc, much similar to an enchanted weapon. There you should choose between 3 types, single target ranged, aoe (a fixed radius, just like the spells) and a charge effect (like flames). It sound easy but I am guessing it is very complicated to make such thing, I don't even know if the creation kit allows for such thing.
Hey, I was wondering if you could give me just a little bit of help. After downloading this mod, I had a lot of fun creating different staves and messing around with them. My absolute favorite is the staff of Ice Spikes. However, and this isn't a problem with your mod, this is a problem with Skyrim itself, I noticed how the staffs I use have very few uses. I also dislike the the design of the destruction staffs, and prefer the illusion and restoration staffs. I want to know how I can make a custom staff with the Skyrim Creation kit with the Illusion staff design, that uses Ice Spikes, and doesn't run out. I figured that you of all people would know since you made this great mod. Also, if you know of any websites or forums that provide directions specifically for staffs, that would be fine as well. Thanks in advanced.
@diablokyle - Yes, if you download this mod you will forget how to speak English and will be able to speak German like a native. There is no known cure at this time.
For the people who can't see the craftable staves, they show up in the Smithing menu when you click on an anvil. The mod description says they are 'in the smith menu' and Octavvius is quite right, but I was sort of expecting to see recipes to buy from the blacksmith for some reason.
