These are the most gorgeous and immersive thing I have ever seen!
Is there a mod that places these in your game?

These look so lovely and well done, wish I could add them to the Armors/belt of my characters!

Excellent bunch of resources. One day I will attempt a house mod and this will be very useful for me.

Lovely-- and I can see all kinds of non-holiday uses as well...

Some of this stuff comes from asset-generation for my player homes, and have been featured in my homes.

The wood-figurines of animals is one example. I think Hermit Cottage has a moose/elk figurine with a Whiterun-wood texture, and the main part of the hanging, hexagon-glass lamp near the bed was re-used as glass-bulbs in this release.

Similarily, the main rope-hanging that most of these objects use is a vanilla necklace (I think Julianos) that I reskinned with Riften-rope, removed the pendant, and straightened out the loop a bit to look more like a free-hanging rope-loop. I've used this very loop in several instances in my player homes for little knick-knacks.

Ultimately, it's all about looking at shapes and curves, and not so much about what the finished object expressively presents as. A hanging Christmas-tree bulb is ultimately just a round shape that you can shrink down to the size of a pearl, or blow up to the size of a crystal ball, or a world-globe, and use as such.

Or cut it in half, and now you have a bowl (if you add a rim), or a domed roof. Deform it a bit, and you have a bell, or a vase.

The items are quite lovely, and I can see all kinds of uses for them already. I got a few ornaments up as a non-seasonal decoration already...

EDIT: And I've spent a bit of time looking at the pillows and blankets you've got, that IS interesting how those work... hm. Blender's beyond me and much of nifskope, but I might be able to tweak things a bit more...

Playing around in Nifskope is extremely easy. You can learn how colorization and UV-mapping works in a few hours; a day, tops.

The guide I wrote is aimed for beginners, and playing around with Nifskope in this way was a big gate-way for me in terms of generating new assets:

      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/82963

Even if you never end up making a mod yourself, it can lead to private, artistic expressions that feel worthwhile to your own aesthetic.

It can also open up for more (private) experimentation with other people's mods, if you ever wanted to adjust a particular detail, or color, to better fit your own preference.

Blender is similarly not very difficult, though it's initially more complex and intimidating. But learning how to manipulate static items (changing the shape of an object) shouldn't take more than 2-3 days of googling and experimenting.

As you're probably aware, being able to realize your own ideas, rather than having to rely on other people to entertain your wishes, is very liberating.

As far as manipulating static items goes, it's really not particularly difficult to "get into".

These are absolutely lovely, true to the setting, and since most cultures have some sort of yule or solstice custom--they are true to lore as well. I love the carved ones especially! Oh, and you are welcome to come by my house next year and decorate for the holidays

      I'm glad you like it.

Some of these stuff could be "re-used" for an Easter celebration. Been thinking about maybe making a mini-update to this resource, or a separate resource that links to this one.

If you plunk down a couple of driftwood-branches in a pot, you have a Scandinavian-style "easter twig tree" that can be decorated with feathers, eggs, pearls, sea-shells and maybe even baskets of goodies lifted from this resource.

I'm good on the offer to fix your 2019 holiday-s***! It's tedious enough to think of cool stuff in a silly digital game :)

Take care, and happy New Years (or Skyrim equivalent)!

These are wonderful, thank you for posting this. I wanted to replace all the snowberry wreaths in the inns with ones more appropriate to their local flora, and this is exactly what I needed to do it.

You say they all have collision so does that mean if I make a miscellaneous item out of them they will fall on the ground and be affected by gravity and can be placed on shelves manually?

      Yes.

Most objects behave this way, even if they don't have collision (landing on the ground/a surface).

They might not behave realistically in a dynamic fashion (being pushed around, interacting with other objects), but they will at least have enough collision to not pass through a player-character trying to move through them.

Primarily, these objects having collision makes them easy to move around in CK.

I hope somebody will do a Saturalia themed addon for Campfire with this assets. Lovely and lore-friendly.
