This will work for Skyrim Special Edition, just download it manual. Worked for me without any problems.

If you lost the ring or simply cannot find it, you can add it to your inventory using the command console (~). Type...

    player.additem xx000d67 1

where xx is the load order number for this mod. The mod name is anellento.esp.

The load number is the number that the mod is deployed. You can find this number in the vortex application under “mods”

lol ! .... never even THOUGHT about THAT possibility! ..(I found a craft ring mod that gives god-like #'s to enchantments/smithing/alchemy, so I mainly use this mod to catch my breath when I get mobbed by assailants lets me loose an army's worth of arrows down-range (insert "evil-laugh" here ....lmao)

Or you could collect an army's worth of arrows that they can shoot at you depending on how patient you are with how long it would take them to fire going in very slow motion...

I wish you could add an updated mod that removes the distortion / hue (night eye effect) from this mod (can't seem to find it anywhere else. want to see the flight of arrows I loosed (mainly for screenshot captures to make as wallpapers for my monitors [running a laptop w/ 2 monitors {i.e. laptop hooked up to TV}])
I know of one in the steam mods section (but trying to wean myself off those mods (some don't work, while others work intermittently))
so if you read this and decide to go ahead and do it ... danke/thanks/paldies in advance

There is a mod that cleans up the bluring slow time effect. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50142/?

Now if this post is as old as it is then you must have found a mod that does this already haven't you?

thserpa, you should create a book that leads to a dungeon where one can find the ring. that way, it wont feel like you're cheating as much

it's UBEER hard to see it... (try tracking SUPER slow in the target area [and make certain NOTHING falls down there... or you're likely to NEVER find it as it probably shot into the river]) can't help on its ID (still quite the mod-using NOOB [and mixing that w/ my ADD .. ..] how would you get the ID on such a thing?? gathering it'd have to do with use of ~ key)
