edited 3/15/19 version 1.7 changes include - Falskaar patch (NOT standalone and requires one of the main files) - landscape fixes - removed more ugly vertex colors - fixed some floating trees and added more snow to areas along the Northern Coast and by interior bodies of water - removed snow from interiors and Blackreach - replaced mountains, static, and trim with snowy variants via CK
more updates to come in the future (although I am starting to get sick of winter in both real life and in Skyrim)
A patch for Frostfall is now available in the optional files section. This patch allows Frostfall v 3.4.1 to recognize all of Skyrim as winter. It does NOT apply to the water as I am still researching that. Frostfall 3.4.1 required
Please read this and all sticky posts before reporting a bug.
Plans for future updates include: - Ice on ponds and lakes - even more landscape fixes - blowing snow and snow drifts - more weather types for each region including some new ones
2/25/20 The Falskaar patches have been fixed. All errors have been removed from the plugins and no more missing exterior fort walls. Uninstall the old Falskaar patch completely before installing the new one, otherwise object LOD will not look right
Great idea. I always wanted to see snowy Skyrim, so i installed this mod and all requirements and recommendations... In the end i got stutters everytime something loads and instant CTD sometimes when i load in another cell. (Of course im using crash fixes with all that memory patches, i have 8gb dual channel ram and 4gm of vram so i played with 200+ mods before with great stability.) I dont know what causes that - DynDOLOD or this mod, i tried to use "Low" preset, downloaded perfomance textures, tried tes5lodgen and it didnt helped really (actually tes5lodgen causes weird stuff like invisible objects but maybe this is problem on my side). It's sad, because it looks really great, but i guess oldrim is just too old for this, or all this problem on my side, but this is strange then... Good thing that you can easily uninstall it and dyndolod without much troubles.
Typical mod bold in its proposal (wonderful), however, full of problems. CDT wherever you go, infinite loading and other problems that cause a lot of inconvenience.
Can someone recommend a good ENB to use with this?
Edit : Bah, nevermind. My game is a stuttering mess with this mod, ENB or not. I used the crash fix and that was not easy to set up. Initially it caused more problems then it helped. Finally got it to stop crashing, but I can not figure out how to stop the constant stutter. I give up. Used this for 3 days and I'm done. Weird though, I've done several play throughs with massive flora overhauls even with the original Tropical Skyrim with intense ENB and never had any problems. I can not get this overhaul to run smoothly. I used the vanilla version. Maybe the 3d tree version works better, but I want to stay away from DynDOLOD. Good luck to all who try.
Great mod! I know you said "- this mod changes all vanilla trees and most plants and is therefore NOT compatible with other tree and flora overhauls" but does this include SkySight - Simply Bigger Trees?
Just an idea, but are you running special edition Skyrim, and using this mod? This is the legendary edition version so try the special edition version. ( Could be the culprit, I've had similar troubles myself )
Wow , downloaded this mod and installed it with NMM . Looks great except when i ran loot ...as it tuned out the mod was dirty . 15 minutes plus now ..its still applying the filter , on just the first pass . what seems to be the reason of so many errors on this file ?
is dyndolo necessary for the vanilla tree file where it isnt mentioned in the title? dyndolod requires alot of work to get done. i thought your mod was just download, install, patch, done. im so sad i was hyped for a winter wonderland................

If you are currently using this mod, just install the update and overwrite
If you are installing this mod for the first time: Install one of the main files first and then install the 1.8 update, overwrite when prompted.
