    is this compatible with extensive follower framework?

      I personally wouldn't recommend it. I don't think using more than one mod that overhauls something is ever a good idea as it will almost always cause conflicts. Follower mods normally make changes to, or make a lot of use of, the vanilla scripts that control house carls and hirelings (eg: Janessa). Using two mods that do this will defo cause problems.     I have been using this for a long time without problems in Skyrim AE, but it recently has been freezing the game when my followers change outfits. Inhave not found a solution, as the mod order doesn't seem to be the problem. I am only using the forgotten city mod, an ultra widescreen fix, and beth.ini. Do you have any idea what it might be? Could beth.ini be the issue.

      Hi. I don't use AE personally because of the amount of mods that have been affected by the changes made by AE (Bethesda in their ultimate wisdom lol). I used the patch to put mine back to SE. Most mods that have been affected by AE are due to their reliance on SKSE. So when a mod that required the SKSE for LE or SE is used with AE (which uses a new version of SKSE), then that is where the incompatibility happens. IAFT - Redone doesn't require SKSE to work so I'm not sure why AE changes would affect it (although I can't say for certain that it wouldn't). It would be more likely that another mod in your load requires the older SKSE to function properly but if that's not the case then I wouldn't even know where to begin with trying to figure why AE would affect this mod. Sorry I can't be of any more help than that but I don't have Skyrim installed anymore as I have switched to SE. You could start a forum thread and see if anyone else has had a similar issue or knows what the problem might be. I would definitely make your load order available to make that easier though. Having said that, quite a few thousand people are using this mod and as yet you are the only person to be experiencing an issue since swapping to AE so that is why I'm doubtful its due to this mod although I might be wrong. Again, I'm sorry I can't be any more help than that.

      Its because this mod is looking for the daywalker mod for each follower and if you dont have it installed it causes the game to freeze on script overload.

      I'm not sure what you mean by script overload. If the mod being looked for through game.getformfromfile doesn't exist it simply returns a none value and the script continues. The only thing that will become quite big over time is a log file which has no impact on the game itself.

    Those are the last line of my 1.2 mo crash log file, any idea of what is it?

      I might be wrong but I think that those error reports are just showing that a call was made by the script to check if the NPC is wearing the armor from my other mod, Daywalker. It is then saying that the daywalker esp file is not loaded. This shouldn't crash your game (I don't think) as it should simply skip the function that checks the armor when it detects that daywalker isn't installed. I am fairly confident that this wouldn't crash your game as there are many people who are using this mod who don't use my daywalker mod and there haven't been any other reports of lots of their games crashing. Your issue is most likely a load order problem or a conflict between different mods you are using. Use Loot (external app not the MO built in version) to sort your load order and then highlight this mod in the left window of MO to see what other mods are overwriting this one (if any).

      Update: I have just started a new test game with this mod installed but NOT my Daywalker mod and everything is working fine so I can 100% confirm that using this mod without daywalker will not cause a game crash. Hope that helps.

      I've got the same situation in my log. I tried installing the daywalker.esp to give AFT the file it needs to be happy, but when I hit run in MO the screen goes blank and the game just straight up crashes. Then Papyrus reads:

      As I have stated before (and made clear in the description), You DO NOT NEED Daywalker esp in order to use this rework of IAFT. There are thousands of people using this mod with and without Daywalker and are not experiencing any issues. I, as stated in the comments, have tested this mod extensively with and without Daywalker installed and have found (as have thousands of other people) that there are no issues. The issues you are experiencing are not due to this mod needing my other one. They are likely due to a conflict between this mod (IAFT Redone with or without Daywalker) and other mods in your load. If there was an obvious issue of this mod or Daywalker causing game crashes, I am sure that I would have received plenty of complaints from the 6000+ other people who are using them. I' m sorry if this comment comes across as blunt but I am 110% certain that the issues that you and chwarzykilleur05 are experiencing are not related to my mods but rather to mod conflicts between mine and other mods in your load.

      The papyrus error that you have given can be caused by a whole host of reasons. Here are a few links dealing with this error that I found after a quick Google:

      if the game is script heavy it will cause it to freeze.    can you please make a version that does not require or look for daywalker.esp or tell us how to delete this script

      My game is VERY script heavy and this does not cause freezing. Specs are 2tb ssd, i7 8th gen, 32 gb ram and rtx 3080. Not sure about lower end systems though. I'll release a script that doesn't check for daywalker when I get the chance. I'm really busy with work and redocorating at the moment lol.

      Edit: I have uploaded the requested file. Please read the bottom of the mod description page for instructions. This can be used in both LE and SE versions of game.

    I keep reading reddit threads that say that this mod lets you set the follower as no regen after combat and not essential but I can't see that setting under the dialogue option about abilities. Is there something I'm missing? Regular AFT does this but it's so buggy now it won't work for me if I've EVER had more than one follower. I'm so frustrated. I want ANYTHING that will keep the follower from healing themselves so that I can finally RP a Restoration mage/healer!

      If you know where the option is in original AFT you can just switch this mod from Immersive to Original in the MCM. Just open the mod in mod configuration (in game) and click core settings then on the top right you will see an option that says dialogue. This will be set to Immersive by default but if you select it you can change it to AFT which reverts all dialogue interaction with followers back to the original AFT.  That way you can find the setting you are looking for then switch back to Immersive if you prefer it or leave it as the original.       Oh thanks. The problem is that AFT is buggy as hell for me. It works really great on the first follower, but if you add another one, dismiss the first and add another one, or marry the follower, and he leaves to meet you at the house, the script that was keeping him from healing and allowing him to die gets stripped, and you can't get it to reapply for anything. I've tried reseting the NPC, reclicking the settings, getting rid of everyone else, etc. Nothing works. You can only have one companion and you can't marry him. I don't know what's wrong. 
       
      If I switch it back to the original will I still have the problem?
       
       
      UPDATE: I did what you suggested and I can't even get the scripts to work on the first follower I got, Faendal. The second combat was over, he was completely healed. I'm DESPERATE for this to work. Any help would be great.

      Are you using Original AFT at the moment or this mod? If you are using this mod then this is basically the same as the newer Immersive AFT but I rewrote the scripts for handling vampires. All I can suggest to do is to try it. Backup your save games to a safe place on your PC then replace the mod you are using and try this to see if it works. The save shouldn't complain because the esp plugin name is the same for both this and the original AFT but you'll have a backup anyway.

      I'm using yours. I'm also using the patch for iNPCS. I really appreciate the help you've given me. It's amazing someone is still modding Skyrim and trying to help people out. If you could look at the code or whatever and see what the problem is with this, I'd really appreciate it. I'm not the only one having this problem with the settings reverting and so on. It's not even applying them to the first follower right now.

      I'm really sorry but I don't play skyrim anymore as I have moved onto skyrim se. As I said, I only re released this mod (which wasn't originally created by me) because I liked the ability to turn your followers into vampires but that was very bugged and I rewrote that section of script to fix it. Regarding the issues you are experiencing, I have no experience with the scripts (and there are a LOT in this mod) which control the areas you are having problems with. I am currently working on mods for SSE so don't have time to update or patch this mod on oldrim anymore. I'm sorry I can't be any more help but if I get some spare time I'll see if I can look into the problem. No promises though :)

      I understand and really appreciate your responses in trying to help me! I also messaged you. Keep me in mind if you ever do get the time and can maybe consider making a simple mod to tweak the essential status and health regen. That might be the easiest answer. Really appreciate the energy you put into this mod and I'm sure so many people are happy with it!

    I love this mod but does this work for mod followers. i mean i have downloaded castle mods that have come with mod followers and they work fine with this but recently I've downloaded ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE DRAGON PRIEST FOLLOWER. which adds three dragon priest followers. and it works! they're all there. however i can not make them all follow me all at once, though i can have one of them with other followers that I've already had before downloading it. did i miss something???

      It depends on how their follower scripts have been implemented. I don't play oldrim anymore as I have moved to SE but from what you are describing, there must be a quest/script conflict between the two mods. It's a great community here so maybe you could ask the author of the dragon priest mod to look at making a patch for IAFT.

    Could you make patches for USLEEP and Immersive horses? I saw a lot of confidence in Tes5Edit.

      Sorry for the late reply. I don't play LE anymore as I've switched to SE. There are plenty of tutorials on making patches if you are familiar with the basics of CK and Tes5Edit. If you don't feel confident to do it yourself you could ask in the forums for help. Check the original IAFT for patches as well. If they don't overwrite the esp then they should work fine.

      Thanks for your late reply. For the USLEEP patch, I worried about the edited quest areas that I don't familiar with, but, I had just copied them to a new patch, which probably runs without problems. For the IH, I compared it with the patch provided by the IAFT, and there was nothing hard to understand. Anyway, I had done the works.

    I am using this mod for the first time, I have the newest version and the patch, I use 1 town mod a few armors and followers, at first it worked fine then started the 1 follower bug, I followed the instructions by waiting 24 hours in game with it disabled then reloaded it, I have even reset the mod, all seemed to work until I load the game on a new day and it is back to bugging, I've lost count on how many times I started a new game thinking I had a bad save, I have checked and rechecked my loader and looked for any conflicts, the only mod I have that impacts this mod in any way is follower trap safty and so uninstalled it and no change, looks like a great mod, happy that it works for others but sadly it does not for me, happy gaming

      I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing problems. One thing I noticed in your comments was that you are using the newest version and the patch. If you have downloaded the newest version of the mod then you do not need the patch. The description says '09/12/2018 UPDATE : PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE IAFTR BUG FIXES FILE IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DOWNLOADED THIS MOD. IF YOU HAVEN'T THEN DON'T WORRY AS THE MAIN FILE HAS BEEN UPDATED AND THAT IS ALL YOU NEED.'. So if you have downloaded the mod after 09/12/2018 then you do not need the patch as the main file was fixed after this date. The patch file was only needed by anyone who had downloaded this mod before that date. You could try and remove the mod and the patch, run loot then re download the mod (not patch) and reinstall it then run loot again and see if that changes anything for you. Other than that, I am at a loss as to what the problem could be. I use this mod myself, as do many others, and have over 150 active mods in my load. I have so far completed the dawnguard, and dragonborn quests along with many side quests and am now almost finished with the civil war quest and I have not had any problem like you describe. Try the suggestion above and see if it helps.

      I would also consider the follower mods you are using. You may want to go to their description pages and make sure that there is no mention of any potential conflicts with follower overhaul mods. I have seen a few follower mods in the past that caused issues with overhauls like IAFT because the follower mod had its own AI scripts that were conflicting with the overhaul mods. I also noticed that you said you are using a mod that affects follower safety with traps. I know that you said you uninstalled it but sometimes scripts cause issues even after uninstall. Better Vampires, for instance , has its own uninstaller to ensure proper removal of its scripts. The reason I am mentioning this is because IAFT has functions that enable the player to make followers avoid traps or not.

      Did you make sure to read the info about the bug file? If you downloaded the mod before the date of the bug fix file being uploaded then you need the bug fix file. if you downloaded the mod after the bug fix release then you don't need the bug fix file as the main file was amended. As for your issue, the bug in the mod originally was that no more than two vampires could be created from your followers but you could still have lots of followers. If you are unable to add more than one follower then you most likely have a mod conflict or bad load order as lots of people use this mod (including myself) and have not experienced a problem with adding followers.

    First off, I'm really happy with this for follower management.

    Now one thing I noticed:
    While working on some (completely unrelated) CTD issues the papyrus logs shiwed that it looks about twice per second for the Daywalker.esp from your other mod. Results in about 2 MB filesize for the logfile per hr playtime.

      The check is so constant because in full sun daylight, a lower level vampire will take damage very quickly when using VT dawnguard edt. It would seem strange if your follower were wearing the armor as a low level vamp and found that they still took initial damage. For eg: If a check had just happened as they stepped out of a cell into daylight world space, and if the check wasn't going to happen again for say 1.5 secs, they would take quite severe damage in full sun as a low level vamp even though they were wearing the armor. This would be immersion breaking as the armor is meant to completely safeguard you from the sun. There are very likely other coders out here who could have done this more efficiently but that was where I was at at the time of making the mod. Anyway, I hope you resolved your CTD issue.

    Hi! First of all great mod you have here. Now for my question, I've been using this mod for quite awhile now and my primary reason for doing so is because of the werewolf followers. I haven't really had problems before and to note my gameplays are usually short because I tend to change character quite often. However, this time, with Requiem I manage to finally find a niche mod, and I have been playing for quite awhile now. Now the problem comes here, I joined the companions and with ESF mod my questing in the guild is quite long so by the time I reach the point they turn me to WW the bug occrus. When I try and talk my follower into turning into werewolf the scene that usually plays does not proceed. The dialogue just pauses and I cant turn my follower into WW. I'm wondering what is causing this issue. I have checked the scripts, specfically the tweakwerewolf.psc and noticed a lot of utility.wait( now im not suggesting anything from this), I wanted to know if script lag is the cause of all of this? and If I can fix this without starting a new game? Currently my solution is to reinstall the mod and start a new game as the problem persists even when I start a new game if I dont reinstall the mod.
