Is there someone who can help me understand how to load a preset ?
I have so many preset in the right folder but i still have an empty "racemenu" CharGen preset option. Nothing shows up and i try to figure this problem out since i bought the game...3 weeks ago >_< . What am i doing wrong ?
when i try to load it, i get a blue body that then extends to anything else even if i change it - and I can no longer use or access the extra racemenu tabs. this is a gorgeous mod, however! i just dont know how to fix it. thank youf or making it!
I think I figured out the problem. For some reason even though i have the latest version of Racemenu installed - along with bodyslide, unp, etc, I had to reinstall racemenu and then deactivate the optional plugin "racemenuplugin.esp". all it does is give you extra in-game bodyslide sliders which might not be the best idea to play with when using a preset anyway - this re-enabled my ability to pick new makeups and overlays and such. after that, I had to basically find the correct overlays because they were numbered differently on my system than what this preset wanted - but that's okay! Once I figured that out, all i had to do was point to the correct overlay again and it worked! well that and i think i disabled one because the texture just would not show up but i'm pretty sure that's operator error, my game is modded heavily. I hope this helps! i can show a screenshot if someone explains to me how!
That's soooooooooo strange D: Could you add one or a few screenshots to the images tab so I can check it out ? I've never dealt with this kind of issue, and after rechecking my own preset requirements all seems to be just fine...
i'm trying to get some screenies for you, I tried to run it with my merged mods and i am now trying to run it with each mod separate and enabled to see if it still messes up. like i said, i'm pretty sure in my specific case, it's an error between chair and keyboard and nothing you did ;) honestly i'm amazed you managed to get that awesome smirk down like.... that had to take some real effort to get right
Added a picture to my account! Turns out Vortex got all kinds of scrambled during an update. a bunch of my mods were being detected but weren't actually loading. once i went in and hand-reinstalled everything, it showed up fine! Sorry the pic doesn't do it justice, this computer is a potato.
