This mod is great and thanks for that. The real problem is having incompability with this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60722 If i put that after your mod, i'll lose the missing arms fix. If i put that before your mod, i'll lose the tags. Is there a fix for that problem (missing arms) without using mods btw? If you know, teach me. Cheers m8.
I haven't been using that mod and haven't had missing arms. May want to check your base RS Children install just in case. I'll see if I can reproduce my end and figure out a fix.
If you're comfortable using TES5Edit, you may want to load it up and see what records that mod and mine both edit, and merge changes yourself.
Thanks for answering, i'm gonna check it out. Edit: You're right, adding body tag to the first person flags fixed the missing arms problem. If somebody have the same problem, this is the one.
As above, open up xEdit for SSE and see what mods are overwriting the records changed by this mod. Nice to know the mod works on SE too, apparently I didn't think to make an SE version. I'll get on that when I next get back to playing SE.
Hello, I'm having issues with the mod, no one in game acknowledges my characters race and Alternate Start won't show me any race specific options, I've attempted to clear out any potential conflicts and the image below is my current Load Order (Except for Skyrim and the core DLCs), I have no idea if I'm doing something wrong and would appreciate any advice when possible, thank you for your time in advance.
Edit: I figured it out, I was missing a mod and it somehow never crossed me mind, very sorry for wasting your time and thank you very much for this mod.
Make sure when you installed RS Children Overhaul you checked the 'Playable' option in the fomod installer. If you did, re-read the instructions in it's fomod installer, I understand there's a page where it confirms you want to use the Playable version, and if you don't check that too, it reverts to non-playable.
It seems to be. I've been running playtests with my own (rather heavily) modded setup and run into no issues so far. With RaceCompatibility and the patches from the optional Dialogue Changes mod, most everyone who's not from a mod properly detects the kids as the appropriate race, and most of the mod added NPC's do as well thanks to the patches. The only two caveats I've come across stem from RS Children Overhaul itself - namely, you won't get voices for Shouts (the 'Fus!' 'Yol!' etc from yourself). That only affects yourself, and is relatively minor. The other is that for reasons I haven't been able to figure out, getting infected with vampirism doesn't trigger a change to the appropriate vampire race, so a Breton Child doesn't get switched to Breton Child Vampire. You need the console to fix that. But otherwise, it should be perfectly fine for a whole playthrough.
Yes, all races present in RS Children Overhaul and RS Elven and Beast Children are included. If you also have the optional Dialog Changes mod linked in the description, you can test this by loading the AS-LAL patch. With it, Breton Children and Breton Vampire Children should be able to pick the Breton-specific Forsworn start option. The same applies for the other race-specific starts.
Done, should be available shortly if it isn't already available. Let me know if there are any issues, it should work but I might have missed an edit where RS Elven and Beast Children replaces the ESP's instead of being it's own plugin.
