I'm playing on the legendary edition and for some reason the drunken combat perk is under lock picking, any idea why?

all the character feats are under Lockpicking, any idea why or is it supposed to be like that?

You must be using the older versions? 3.3.0 is the version with Character Feats distributed to other skill trees.

Couple suggestions I’d love to see implemented for this mod:

    1) place the character feats either deeper into each skill and/or require at least a couple of perks investment into said skill before usage. Athletics, willpower and shout focus are way too strong imo for all specs to simply put perks into. Say what you will, but I take those perks in every character I use because they’re so good for every type of character.

    2) some of the static boost perks just have no use in the late game- the bow and shield bashing perks are cute for early game help, but if the goal was to make these builds a character, they should scale a little bit better to level 50 enemies- or at least make them add a boost to that skill at the third perk level to make them feel good to take. (Sort of like Diablo 2 synergies- on paper a skill may suck later on, but it boosts another skill)

      1) There are some conflicting balancing rules for those perks. One is that the feat perks should be powerful enough to support extreme playstyles (like max-speed build with Athletics and Shoutmaster build with Shout Focus), and the other is that they're simply bonuses for anyone - only tradeoff being the perk points you need to spend to take the feat perks (in trade of other perks you could take). Unlike perks like Balanced Wielding which you NEED to not use your off hand to benefit from the bonuses.
Character level limit of 0/15/30 is the current one-and-only requirement for taking Character Feats. Felt like the best way since those perks are independent from skill (like, Athletics is designed to benefit both LA and HA characters - untied from both trees). Do you have suggestion on what the 'new requirements' should be?
+) I think this is a basic problem for 'mods that add something'. New things that player can make use of...

      2) Shield Strike should be slightly better than before since it also gives you bash cost reduction, but yeah. It's slightly less powerful in the end than what you'd expect it to be. Same for Bow Strike. It's not the ultra-mighty perk that'd be worth all the perk points, at this current state.
I'm considering Shield Strike to have additional bonuses like increased Disarm & Knockdown chance with Overpowering Bashes & Disarming Bash. This Apply Bash Hit Spell thing is complicatedly designed so it'd take some time for me to find a way to implement the stuff however. Same for Bow Strike - stronger stagger depending on what enemy is doing, super low disarm chance at high rank, etc. I could definitely make the two perks more interesting.

that's fair. Still hoping the character feats could be toned down a bit or still require skill committment. any chance you'll ever split the character and skill feats apart? I love the skill feats but not crazy about the character feats.

If you remove reference to Dagger Focus in One-handed perk tree, you should be able to downgrade the mod for 2.0.

Ney Nox, quick question regarding Athletics. Is the sprinting speed a standalone or it stacks with general movement speed increase of the feat?

It stacks on top of everything. If you have Athletics 3, movement speed is 110%, and while sprinting it becomes 125% (but you are more faster because you're sprinting).

A long shot, but could a compatability patch for AZ Tweaks be made?

    Thanks

I don't use AZT, so.... no?
While the perks are mostly standalone, there could be issues on bash damage for Shield Strike & stuff, so one will have to get deep into the details to make a 'full compatible' patch...

This mod is great , it adds so many more game play and build options.
Deserves allot more attentions and endorsements.

P.S. Thanks for your continuing updates but do you mind updating the change log.

Ouch. I usually hang out in Requiem reddit and just forget about updating Nexus all the time...
Will try to keep that updated next time.

Can the second and third ranks of Bow Strike receive a small buff? I see very little reason to invest more than one perk point in it, I can just bash a low health enemy a few more times instead.

Damage = perks, for every weapons. Just like how Weapon Mastery in 1H works. More rank = more damage. Though you can say 'I'll just do more swings than using a perk point' for every weapon type out there...
You can always just dip into the first rank for basic damage & stagger, leave the rank 2 and 3 to get other perks.

+) And due to how Skyrim's bash damage works, you will do extra physical damage scaling with your Block skill level (although bow bashing doesn't actually increase Block skill). So if someone wants to max out bow bash damage by buying Block trainings to like 90~100, the damage becomes a bit hilarious, even now.

I guess you are right. Did not know about the scaling part, with some Block training maybe I can waste wolves and other small creatures. Do any perks in Block increase the damage?
