An interesting mod that adds not only quests, but also a new worldspace. While the whole concept of a floating isle is intriguing, the execution is still pretty rough around the edges. Particularly the quests need some work, as they often fail to advance or finish properly. Overall if we consider this as an unfinished beta, it's a pretty good mod, but it is far from being a gem. Since the author abandoned this mod or modding altogether, play this at your own risk, because there are a lot of bugs. The crash that makes it impossible to advance to the final stage is particularly annoying, but the mod is not interesting enough to spend time and effort to fix that.
Hey Kyman3, I wanted to stop by and let you know I tried your mod and I like what it has to offer to my game. I explored around Doltania for a while, went through the main city hub, visited a few shops etc and some of the surrounding isles etc and I did find a few issues but some of which are me being picky with how things work and the others are some things even I have trouble fixing myself so I cant really complain. I left an endorsement, hopefully we can see some future updates to the project, take care.
1: The quests despite not having map markers would often not run. This included the main quest with the Marshal, Boris's dwarven spoon , temple quests, e.t.c. Personally I don't need map markers, however they quests themselves are never completing even if they have been over and over again.
2: The temple quests would reset on their own and the priest would vanish making it impossible to restart even after reloading an older save game.
3: Quests never complete and you could restart the main quest at the kings home over and over in an infinite loop, same goes for the dwemer/dwarven spoon quest.
4: The final battle portal to the "uncharted isles" CTDs every time. I did check via console and there are no references to this. The rest such as the merchants, guards, Tony, e.t.c. All seem to work properly with the exception with the final guard battle where the corrupt and good guard would switch sides at random.
5: World space travel also doesn't really work like getting back from Persephone after killing the problem Falmer in the well. Eventually i did find a route under water through a Dwarven ruin that has a door back to the city.
6: Yes the King does give me the 5000 gold reward again it just doesn't register in the Quests register. The only way i could end the quest was to spawn the antagonist via the console and fight him somewhere else other than the "uncharted isles".
Otherwise this mod has a-lot of potential. Please keep at it.
Why is MrSiikaSeaView.esp required? That esp adds stuff to my world around serpent bluff redoubt which is highly unnecessary. As far as I see, you only need the resources and not the plugin from the kit. Could you please remove that dependancy.
