I'm not sure why but when I equip this it looks like the right side nif is being used on my left side. I have the scabbard straps protruding out and it looks like the scabbard is reversed.
Very nicely done I'm very impressed with the simplicity yet beauty of this mod, I was just hopping that you would add custom animations, but that would obviously require adding a separate weapon type or something. I found that 1st person spear and rapier animations mod look great with this weapon, but the 3rd person one still looks crappy with the vanilla 1H sword animations and could use that stabbing motion for some extra flare. Besides that ABSOLUTELY beautifully modeled, with one exception, that being the gem, of course as the author you take your artistic liberty, but I find it as a bit of an eye sore and really think that making it translucent but pink would perfect this masterpiece. I see that it was modeled after a 16th century Italian rapier, but was wondering if you have taken even a little inspiration from Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, there is a weapon being wielded by princess that is not a rapier but rather a sword, yet still possess a very similar color pallet. Amazing work really, I endorse this mod. TLDR; A bit of critique but overall an amazing looking rapier especially if you install the max resolution version.
hello! i really like this mod and i was wondering if it was possible i could use this as a static display weapon in my mod? that way if people want to use it they would come here to download it? is this okay?
Hi. I suggest a color that matches the hilt and/or the blade. So maybe kind of black and/or silver/grey. If there would be a version with both i would realy appreciate that (i know it sounds demanding). :)
Hi Black or grey are quiet boring colors, but I know a lot of people here are obsessed with the color black (also keep in mind that in game you can not see shadows or shades on a black surface). Also a jewel should form a contrast to the weapon to "stand out" not visually disappear as it has the same colors - why would someone put an expensive jewel on it if no one would be able to spot it? CL
Well, you are the modauthor and it is your decision. :) I would love to use the mod if it has no gem at all or colors that fits the rest of the sword. It's not about a specific color. For me it's not about boring stuff, it just have to fit the rest of the weapon. And very noticeably colors doesn't do that for my character ingame. It is that easy. I saw what mods you've created and the quality seems pretty great but most of them are over-the-top for me personally (except the ebony blade). Your Rapier not, i like it, looks very good, except the gem, which is not to much just the color doesn' appeal to me. Would it be more in a subtle way (whatever color fits the rest of the sword) im all for it. Just my thoughts. ^^
Personally i like weapons without too much fancy design, a version that just removes the gem and replaces it with a regular golden pommel. Thanks for listening :)

Fix that purple stone looks it awful it's like a text error
As far as the pink gem pommel goes, I changed it to a lovely blood red ruby in GIMP with like 3 clicks. Easy peasy.
