-- FAQ -- Q: Can I use just the textures or do I need to have the esp enabled and meshes? A: Yes, you can use the textures only, textures with this meshes or the whole thing with .esp enabled if you want General Carius set. The textures have been made to look good either way.
Q: Can I use this textures with other mesh replacers like Practical Female Armors, Improved Closefaced helmets, CBBE, etc? A: Yes, it is compatible*. Just ensure that the meshes you want to have ingame are installed afterwards. Those meshes likely won't use enviroment mapping though, the textures have been made to look good that way but if you want to fully utilize the mod you could have the next question now. *Note the sleeves and pant optional would require a compatiblity patch with any mesh replacer that affects the same meshes.
Q: If I'm using meshes from a replacer, how do I enable enviroment mapping? A: It's very easy, here are some instructions for nifskope:

Download nifskope from: link Open the meshes included in this mod and your replacer side by side. Expand the tree as needed and locate the "BSLightingShaderProperty" nodes of the armor parts, not the body parts. Ensure the following lines match: > Skyrim Shader Type (Default or enviroment mapping, note not all parts need enviroment mapping, match what's used in my meshes) > Shader Flags 1 (enviroment mapping flag enabled or not) > Glossiness (50 - 80) > Specular Strength (1.0 - 2.0) > Enviroment map scale (0.5 - 1.0) Then expand it's children node "BSShaderTextureSet" and make sure all the paths match. Be careful with the slot the paths go.
replying to myself to let anyone in the future wondering where to find sleeves know... you have to install the optional files , in files section. it replaces the no-sleeve imperial armors with sleeves. (so there isn't both versions in 1 mod)
Hi, can you make a patch for the medium armor in Imperial Legion Armour Uniformity? Their armor looks sick as hell but its kinda stand out with its low-res compared to other Imperial armor parts. Here is the link for the mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11928?tab=description
@FrankFamily This is the only good imperial retexture mod out there can this please get ported to Bethesda.net for Xbox all the other imperial armor mods change the armor far to drastically and yours stays true to the original style. It would be much appreciated if it could.
Hey, just wanted to say that I absolutely adore this mod. Up until recently (Roman-style playthrough), I used it in every playthrough. However, I have a question. Or rather, a request. I've recently noticed that I still get the awesome blue-sleeved style armor that your mod gives when I get Carius' armor. Would you be able to make a version of Carius' armor without the heartstone brace? I know that if you remove it, it has a bad texture underneath. But I love the blue color in his armor that you made, and, as I'm doing an Imperial playthrough with the Second Great War mod, I wanted to get a clean version of the armor with that same blue-sleeved style that you present. Basically, it would end up looking like Tullius' armor, except with the blue sleeves and black and silver. I'm not sure if you're taking any requests for this mod, but if you could point me in some direction for it, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for making this awesome mod!
Hey love the mod my only issue I'm having is that the female characters in my game do not wear the sleeves. I have the correct mods installed and in the right order. Not quite sure what the conflict is. I'm using UNP body mod and have the UUNP vanilla outifits for bodyslide.
Naturally, mesh replacers would need a compatibility patch to have sleeves, since that's a modification of the meshes. I'm not familiar with UNP/CBBE so i'm not sure how all that exactly works, but if any of it involves modifying vanilla meshes to fit the custom bodies, which I presume it does, then those same modifications would have to be made on the sleeved meshes I've included here in order to have sleeved meshes in females fitting the body you have installed.
I realize now that the FAQ could cause a bit of confusion, since it was written with the main mod in mind and not the sleeved optional.
can someone make a retexture of Lost Longswords' Imperial Longsword to frankfamily's imperial sword texture? The texture of the vanilla imperial sword compared to the longsword is too different from each other. please consider, frankfamily's texture is way more superior than the vanilla. Lost Longsword looks s#*! without a retex

But I got a question, how do you remove this heartstone band from General Carius' Armor?
